Camperisti was supposed to be a great experience, but it was mediocre. We booked on agoda.com 1 year ahead.
Beach and Location: 2/10
The water is murky and blurry, making it hard to see. When we leave the Club Laiya resort area, it's not blurry! Fix this.
Room / Camper Van: 8/10
The room is nice, has a king-sized bed, two tables, and a lavatory.
The shower is sometimes clogged, that could be fixed. The lavatory is smelly, ugh!
Restaurants / Food:
Captain Barbozza: 10/10
Has nice decoration, some swings, and serves great food in a reasonable amount of time. It's perfect.
The Sands: 5/10
Nice decoration, great food, but awful service! The Sands claims its food will be "on the house" if we wait over 30 minutes. Guess what? The food took 40 minutes! It wasn't "on the house" as they said! I even saw a senior complaining! At least we got free ube ice cream.
Service: 8/10
Staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The Sands needs better service.
Amenities: 3/10
The shower is clogged. But the worst of all, the electricity uses the crappy and s**tty BATELEC! (Batangas II Electric Cooperative). Electricity randomly shuts off! One night, it shut off 6 times, we couldn't sleep well!
Overall, the resort is good, but could use some improvements.
Sincerely,
Evelyn Flores
We recently rented a camper trailer from Camperisti, and overall, it was a great experience for our family of four. The camper was very spacious and comfortable, making it an ideal choice for a family getaway. The check-in process at 2 PM and check-out at 12 PM was smooth and convenient, though shortening the time between check in and check out might be worth considering as the trailers are relatively small and easy to clean.
The amenities provided were adequate for our stay, but there are areas for improvement. For instance, the towels had a slight smell, possibly due to the laundry soap used; switching to a different soap could enhance this aspect. Additionally, the cleanliness of the air conditioning filter needs attention, as the beds are close to the unit, and those sensitive to dust might be affected. A small suggestion for the shower caddy would be to drill holes on the shelf to prevent water accumulation, which would help maintain hygiene and convenience.
One standout aspect was the staff, who were incredibly friendly and eager to help, making our stay more enjoyable. However, management could improve their efficiency by providing hand trailers for dirty bedsheets and towels instead of requiring staff to hand-carry them. This small change would lighten their workload and streamline operations.
Despite these minor issues, our stay was enjoyable, and we appreciated the overall quality of the trailer and the excellent service provided by the staff. With a few tweaks, Camperisti could easily elevate their already commendable service to a top-tier experience.
I just stayed at one of their trailer camps at the beach front. The room was very nice. The beds were very comfortable. The beach, the sand and the pools were perfect
However I could not give them a perfect review because their bathrooms smells. The trailer camp I rented was probably the high end of their product line as it fronted the beach. Their was a bad stench in the shower area! It seems that they all connect to the septic tank which was emitting the smell. That smell will circulate across the whole room if you forget to close the door of the shower area.
I also inquired in the service desk about their cocoons and the shared rest room. The cocoons are placed in sectors and each sector will have a shared toilet. I asked one of the service personnel to show me this toilet. When she opened the door the stench was so bad and I was located 3 meters away!
They need to do something about this because I cannot recommend this to my family and friends
My stay at Camperisti at Club Laiya was exceptional! The staff was welcoming, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. The pool and spa provided ultimate relaxation, while the on-site dining was delicious and diverse. Stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere made this the perfect escape. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!
No free breakfast
At time with ongoing construction, affecting in a way the relaxation.
But still good 👍
It's just this is our first resort/beach w/o free breakfast even an egg or hotdog
