Pinaluyan Guest House, Puerto Princesa

Absolute breath of fresh air of an establishment and the owners managers that are on premises. I left an expensive and out of the way jungle retreat center early because the service and food and prices of everything were outrageous. I booked this in 2 minutes and am SO VERY happy that I did Chris and Bambi have had 15+ years of hospitality experience in very well established markets and it showed from the very first moment. They contacted me about a pick up need and if I had any questions within 5 minutes of booking. Although this is a very modest accommodation, the food, rooms and just overall care of their guests and properties blew me away. They helped me schedule a fire fly tour and a city tour, showed me around their garden and really gave me a local, homegrown experience. I felt like a part of their family! The rooms have full air conditioning and the shower pressure and hot water rivals that of the showers Im used to in the states. And lastly, the value for your money is unmatched. If you are looking for a 5 star posh hotel, you should skip this place, but if you are looking for a local experience with great people who provide great food and homemade food, this is the place for you! I am so very grateful not only for them and their family and staff.

Awesome Guesthouse with Kind owners, friendly and helpful staff, yummy breakfast too. We are from Singapore and had been staying there more than 6 times since we first visited in 2015. Highly recommended
