Blue Lagoon Inn & Suites

My go to place in Puerto Princesa if Im spending a night. Located Rizal Street in the city where night activities are. They have their own restaurant and a pool. I love their cottages available for low price. On cons is the small muddy road leading to the resort from the main road. Its also dark at night. But overall, I get a good rest in this resort.

We arrived early around 6 AM but no one attended to us right away. Staff weren’t attentive and we had to wait. When the receptionist came, they charged ₱250 per hour for early check-in which felt too much. The next day, service at the restaurant was also very slow. Overall, not accommodating and not worth it. The location is far from the main road but that’s okay. What’s not okay is the long, rough, unwalkable road. It was very inconvenient. Overall, not accommodating and not worth it.

Rooms were fine. Location was passable (the road to Rizal was pretty rough). Pool was great. Food at the restaurant was not worth it and staff were not great. Inflexible and unhelpful, really tainted the experience...

A Relaxing and Convenient Stay at Blue Lagoon and Suites – Puerto Princesa✨️ I had a truly pleasant stay at Blue Lagoon and Suites in Puerto Princesa. The location is peaceful and perfect for those seeking a quiet escape, it’s just around 2 kilometers from the city center and very close to the airport, making it both accessible and relaxing. The property offers a tranquil atmosphere, especially with its inviting swimming pool that adds to the relaxing vibe. One thing I appreciated the most is that it has its own restaurant, so there's no need to worry about where to eat. Even better, they offer in-room dining, and meals can be served right to your room. Each room comes with a balcony, plus a table and chairs both inside and outside, making it comfortable to dine or unwind anytime. Security is also well-considered—CCTV cameras are installed in the aisles and corners for added peace of mind. The rooms are secure and well-equipped with locks, meeting my standards as a solo traveler. The room itself was clean, came with complimentary bottled water, a mini-fridge stocked with drinks for purchase, a television, fresh towels, and basic toiletries like soap, shampoo, and tissue. They also offer tours, including island hopping and city tours, which I took advantage of and really enjoyed. The only downside I found was transportation. The property is about 180 meters from the main highway, so if you don’t have a vehicle, you’ll need to walk a short distance to find a tricycle. But a great tip for fellow travelers—download the Backride Pinas app. It’s a very helpful platform where you can book rides like motorcycles, tricycles, cars, and even deliveries. It made getting around much easier for me. All in all, I had a great stay at Blue Lagoon and Suites. The food was consistently delicious, and I ordered all my meals from their restaurant. I would definitely book this place again and would highly recommend it to all travelers, especially those looking for a peaceful, secure, and comfortable stay in Puerto Princesa.🫰

Very simple little villa . It did have very good hot water ( which is hard to get in this area . The pool was good . Wifi was decent and has cable TV. Don't expect much and you will be good for a night or 2 .
