Southwind Resort Palawan

Great place to stay! The staffs were friendly and helpful, there was an issue with cleanliness at first (old used towels in the cupboard), but they were quick to clean it. We asked them to find a taxi to airport, and they found the cheapest one! Pleasant stays! Thank you.

This resort has the potential to be a great spot to have a nice vacation. However, there are things that may be below expectations. First, the rooms are really cramped. There is literally no space for you to open your luggage properly. Second, the ACs are old wall ACs, which have to be turned on by hand without a remote. Third, the rooms are not insulated for sound, and you can hear the kids playing in the pool from early in the morning. Also, consider that the windows are not darkened and the curtains have to be always drawn. The staff are very friendly and professional and the space is very clean. If certain things improve, they will do very well in the hospitality business.

We had a very pleasant stay at Southwind. We especially want to highlight Princess at the front desk—she was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. No matter what the issue was, she always had a solution and a warm smile. The breakfast was varied and delicious. Highly recommended!

The place was overall, a ten out of ten experience for me. The staff were very delightful. The venue itself is the EXPERIENCE.

Family room was a decent size but all beds and little room to move around. The AC works great and froze my wife but I enjoyed it. The kids had a great time in the pool. The staff was excellent and very helpful and friendly. One thing to note, though the reservation said breakfast included it was only included for 5 of the 7 of us. No big deal for me as I don't want rice and eggs and don't really eat breakfast but if you have a large group make note of that.
