Angkla is our cherished beach hideaway—a sanctuary of luxury and calm. We’ve returned here over the years, and it has consistently remained our oasis on a remote stretch of pristine white-sand beach. Waking up in our room feels like a dream: the softest sheets, the sound of waves gently rolling in, and birds singing just outside. Mornings at Angkla begin with a beautiful breakfast as the sun rises, and from there the staff seamlessly takes care of anything we might want—whether it’s arranging island-hopping tours, booking massages, organizing special dinners, or planning beach activities. Most days, we simply relax for hours by the shore, and the team at both the resort and restaurant look after us with such attentiveness and warmth. Angkla strikes the perfect balance of relaxation and understated luxury. The entire staff is incredibly hospitable, welcoming, and genuinely caring. Every stay feels personal. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to recharge and experience this slice of paradise again. Thank you, Angkla team—you make every moment unforgettable.

Angkla beat our expectations, we had a great time and couldn't recommend it more, even in the stormy season! From the moment of our late-night check in to after our departure the staff took incredible care of us in every way, feeling smooth even while a storm was raging. The location is optimal, food is great and the activities on ofter very high end - island hopping in particular being great fun. The only suggestion for improvement is the WiFi, as it sometimes lags a bit, but it's definitely a minor issue. Thanks to all the staffs for their kindness and support!

We cannot recommend this resort enough!!! We stayed here for 5 nights to end our honeymoon and it truly has been an amazing experience. The staff is incredible, helpful and kind. Charles was amazing on our private boat trip, would highly recommend doing the island hopping. The rooms are stunning, the food so delicious and please try the mango shake. We were hit by a really brutal typhoon when we were there and everyone made us feel safe and looked after. Thank you so so so much Angkla team!! 🤍🤍🤍

Wow - what a beautiful and welcoming place! We stayed three nights. Even after a huge typhoon had just passed through, this place was peaceful, friendly and fantastic to relax in. The staff are so helpful and lovely. The restaurant offers delicious foods and drinks. The beach is stunning, and there’s two pools - one right by the beach - to relax in. I had a great massage and there’s a handy little gym (treadmills and plenty of free weights) for guests too. I had an upstairs room that was stunning - high ceilings, big balcony, comfy bed. I notice a few people complaining about the road to this place. Yes it’s a bit bumpy, but they pick you up and drop you off from anywhere, in a 4x4. And once you’re at the hotel, you are in a perfectly luxurious cocoon of comfort. A few bumps on a very short journey should not deter you AT ALL!

We heard really good things about the beach club and wanted to try it. We saw on reviews and the staff confirmed upon our arrival that the price was 1,000 PHP for two sun-beds (redeemable). To our surprise, the staff informed us before we left that the 1,000 PHP we had paid upon our arrival was non-redeemable, so we had to pay the remaining balance. Be careful to triple check with the staff before you sit down.
