Perfect, relaxing stay! Service was attentive, like they were anticipating our next request. Breakfast leaned more towards Pinoy style and we loved the spread. We were lucky to be treated to a great sunset on our first night. The estate was well-planned with a nice selection of restaurants and services for visitors. Everything you need is within walking distance. The week was supposed to be rainy, but the rain came sporadically and the sun eventually came out. The nik-nik insects did not show up for us. We enjoyed the pool and happy hour drinks. The staff advised us that they can call a van service for our bigger group, instead of tricycles, to get to downtown. We were able to arrange private boat tour by asking at the front desk. On checkout day, I was sad to close the door to our room. Such great memories!

This hotel had the best location right on the beach. The pool and restaurant were great. The staff and service was the best part of this experience. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.

Overall, the hotel itself was great. The hotel looks new, very clean, and has a relaxing atmosphere. The location is unbeatable—right on the beach with direct access to the shore, close to good restaurants and shops, and the only hotel in the area with a pool. The pool was a big plus since the waves can get too strong for kids at times. However, we had a serious issue that made the experience disappointing. It felt like we were almost scammed, and it seemed the lobby receptionist and the tour operator were working together. Upon check-in, I inquired about island-hopping tours. Through the receptionist, we booked Private Tour A with a traditional boat for ₱14,000, based on the rate shown in their service booklet at the front desk (I even took a photo). We also arranged a beach pick-up, but the next morning they said the waves were too strong, so we needed to go to town instead. A van picked us up for an additional ₱1,200. When we arrived in town, the van driver told me to pay the fees directly to the tour operator. I paid for everything there—van transfer, environmental fees, lagoon fees, snorkeling gear, and a kayak rental. In total, I paid ₱17,700, plus ₱700 for the kayak. After the tour, we returned to the hotel by tricycle. The next day, the receptionist called me down because two staff members from the tour operator claimed I had not paid the ₱1,200 van fee. Before meeting them, I asked for a detailed breakdown since I was sure I already paid. When we reviewed their computation at the lobby, they suddenly changed their story and said they made a mistake—that I only owed ₱400. They gave me a breakdown, and after checking it, I agreed to pay. But I noticed the service booklet with the original rates was suddenly missing from the reception desk. Later in my room, I checked the photo I took the day before and realized they increased the Private Tour rate to ₱14,500 from the original ₱14,000. Meaning I shouldn’t have owed anything at all—they adjusted the price to make it seem like I still had a balance. I returned to the lobby to report this to the receptionist. She helped recompute and confirmed the discrepancy. I asked her to inform the owner of the tour operator and requested an official invoice with proper breakdown. If this happened to tourists who don’t double-check, they could easily be overcharged. Eventually, another staff member returned the ₱400, saying the booklet price was outdated and they would “update it tomorrow,” which felt like another excuse. I checked the tour operator’s official facebook page (Leatherback Tours), and the real price for the tour was only ₱13,000 if booked directly. This means the hotel already earns a ₱1,000 commission—but on top of that, it seemed like they were trying to extract more by manipulating the price. This confirmed my suspicion that they were trying to scam us. For reference, the receptionist’s name was Chelle, and the tour operator staff was Marlon. I don’t mind paying extra as long as prices are published and transparent, but this was unacceptable. It dampened the overall mood of our trip. I hope management looks into this seriously. Other tourists shouldn’t have to go through the same experience.

“There is a fishy smell coming from the air conditioner in room 201. Pros Location: Close to the beach, allowing for light water activities. The beach landscaping is well maintained. While the underwater environment itself may not be remarkable, the area offers El Nido’s signature beautiful seascape. Bedding: The bedding is well-prepared, with four pillows and cushions provided. Cons Breakfast: Compared to hotels of the same or even lower price range, the breakfast selection is limited, and refilling of empty dishes is not handled promptly. Noise: As of mid-September 2025, construction is underway nearby, and the sound of grinders continues from morning until evening.

It's Great for zero noise, but with pool amenities restaurant and beach! They don't encourage feeding them native squirrels and monitor lizards and monkeys so meeting them wilds are a chill experience. Monkeys don't hiss at you nor squirrels get your food. The place is different from the El Nido town, it's a green comfortable people you will meet there. Coffee is so espresso :) salmon and porks and that matangbaka fried fish are a delight! Premium value is priemium you get. It's just maybe 500m from the airport
