Avoid This Place – Rude Owner, Ignored Confirmed Booking, and Completely Unprofessional Behavior I strongly advise anyone considering Dandal Bay View Inn (Twin Beach/Calitang Beach El Nido/ Nacpan Beach El Nido) to look elsewhere. My experience here was not just disappointing, it was deeply frustrating and unacceptable for any paying guest. I made a fully paid reservation on the morning of September 11, 2025 through a legitimate third-party booking site (Agoda-Which I'm booking at for the past 6 years and no issues ). The booking included breakfast, and I received an official confirmation email. There was no communication from the inn indicating any issues with the reservation, so we reasonably assumed everything was in order. However, when we arrived at the afternoon to check in, we were met with confusion and hostility from the owner,a woman who clearly had no interest in resolving the situation professionally. I calmly explained that we had a confirmed, paid booking. Instead of welcoming us or checking the details, she became visibly upset and claimed they had already "closed their account" on the booking platform. She seemed more angry about the price we got than the fact that we had a valid reservation. Here’s the worst part: someone inside the room (we didn't see him but we all heard his voice) confirmed that my name and booking were visible on their system. Despite this, the owner ignored the confirmation and continued to act aggressively. I was even prepared to pay a different rate if needed, but before I could say a word, she snapped, “I won’t give them breakfast,” and stormed off. At that point, it was clear we were not welcome,not because of any mistake on our part, but because she simply didn’t like the terms of the booking she had agreed to. We left because we were obviously not welcome. This owner’s behavior was rude, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate for the hospitality industry. It’s one thing to have a booking issue; it’s another to treat guests with open hostility when the fault isn’t even theirs. There was zero accountability, no attempt at resolution, and no apology. There are many other places in the area where guests are treated with basic courtesy and respect — Dandal Bay View Inn is clearly not one of them. 🚫 Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

What a great value for money! The staff are friendly and helpful. The food was good. And the proximity to a calm peaceful beach combined with hotel bar, can’t be beat. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area. Thanks again!

Found a bargain last minute deal to stay here. It's a great budget BnB. Staff are nice and helpful. Room was clean, AC worked, bed was decent. Food is good but free breakfast portions are tiny. Having breakfast on the beach front was really great. Ok the negative side the shower was cold and flooded the bathroom a bit but there was a curtain at least. I wouldn't stay here for more than $10-15/night but we found our stay good on a budget.

I'm a Filipino, I stayed here Dec 2024. Worst everything. Some places are bad but make up with the service. This accommodation does none of that. First there's no cellphone signal all networks. They have wifi but plays up. Water is important and their water goes out at any time of the day and night. My friend slept with shampoo on her hair overnight. I wasn't able to wash myself before going to sleep for the night. The next day it was my turn to bathe and I did but after me there was no water again in the middle of the day for my other friends to wash up! The food service is slow or they forget your order when you have been waiting for several minutes. We asked for the extension of the stay if they can be waived, due to no water we cant take a bath before checking out because they charge 100 pesos per hour and did not at first. We had to ask to speak to the owner. The staff didn't even apologize for the water. The steamed fish I ordered was not cooked all the way through. I mean these are all true accounts. I've stayed on cheap accommodations before but thisnis the worst. They have All the worst service! Oh by the way the toilet doesn't work properly, watch out for your number 2 might not go down haha

We only had lunch and didn't sleep at this place. The lunch (vegetable curry + coconut vegetables) were good. The service is a bit slow but friendly. Reasonable price. Pretty view.
