Coral Cay Resort

We were riding around looking for lodgings around San Juan and this was the only one available for the 5 of us late in the afternoon. Staff was grumpy. Place looked lonely. We only saw a couple in the pool. Both of the rooms has weak Aircon. When we asked the staff to check it, they did. They just checked it! Left with no promises or even talked. Anyway, it was just for a night. We were forbidden to talk loud even if outside our huts. Free breakfast was ok except for the instant coffee.

What I love this resort is very peaceful.,I mean if you’re going to siquijor and finding peace and serenity this place is for you..beachfront at ang ganda ng sunset dto..they also have generator since every day my brown out when we stay there..they also have Wi-Fi.,very accessible to everything if you want to explore.,friendly staff and accommodating.,probably I will be going back here one day and stay longer.,

I asked for a service aircon van from the port. we were fetched by an old one. when we entered, the stinky smell of inadequate dried matting welcomed us, :( we have to open the windows to let air in, including the front ones by the driver. there were quite large insects all over, specially inside the restroom, and also on the bed. the pressure in the shower was so slow, we have to position ourselves near the wall to catch the water. the entire island has been having problem with electricity, having block outs 3-4x a day for almost a month when we stayed there. I was not advised of this when I made the booking so I could have prepared properly, or more so, moved to another date. they have the generator but won't use it everytime the power supply is off. there are times we stayed inside the room full of sweat. the staff are good but the owner is not quite friendly. there are plenty of other better resorts to choose from.

Everything was perfect! The rooms were very comfortable and fully equipped, and super clean. The atmosphere is perfect. The location is stunningly beautiful, right on the beach. You can have breakfast with the best views. Thank you for everything. I highly recommend this place.

I had a wonderful stay. The happy hour margaritas were great. The only one small complaint would be that the wifi wasn’t good at my bungalow on the beach but in the rest of the resort it was excellent, also the pool was a little green but still ok to swim in. Lovely poached eggs for breakfast too unfortunately the coffee beans had run out so only instant coffee.
