4 weeks agoHad a wonderful stay at Sunset Ridge Hotel in Baguio! The highlight is definitely the amazing sunset view — truly one of the best spots in the city to unwind and watch the sky change colors. The ambiance is peaceful and perfect for those who want a relaxing escape from the busy city center. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were warm, helpful, and always ready to assist. It’s a great place to recharge, enjoy the cool Baguio breeze, and take in a beautiful view at the end of the day. If you’re looking for a quiet, scenic stay in Baguio with a stunning sunset vantage point, this is absolutely worth it. 🌅✨

4 months agoMy wife and I recently had a fantastic stay at Sunset View Ridge Residences in Baguio for our honeymoon and I cannot recommend it enough. Our trip almost didn't happen as our original booking was canceled at the last minute. We reached out to the staff at Sunset View Ridge, and they were lifesavers, accommodating us on very short notice. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the staff's kindness and professionalism. The place itself is stunning—clean, comfortable, and with breathtaking views. It truly felt like a home away from home, making our much-anticipated Baguio trip memorable for all the right reasons. Thank you, Sunset View Ridge, for saving our trip and for the exceptional hospitality! We will definitely be back.

4 months agoOur stay here was unplanned—it was a spur-of-the-moment decision. On our way home, we got stuck in massive traffic along Marcos Highway due to road construction and the surge of tourists from Baguio heading home. With vehicles at a standstill, we decided to book the nearest hotel. I was looking for a place with a nice view, and this hotel came up. It’s outside the city center, which I thought would be a plus. Although there were cheaper options, I chose this one because of the good reviews about the view. Upon arrival, we were assisted by the duty security personnel at the parking area. There are about four to five parking slots near the entrance, but you can also park along the street. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood at a dead end, so only guests, nearby restaurant customers, and residents pass through. After parking, we proceeded to the check-in counter. The staff were courteous and friendly. We were asked for a deposit, but since we didn’t have cash, they allowed us to leave an ID instead. From the outside, the hotel and the view were indeed beautiful. However, the room was disappointing. It was small, oddly shaped, and had a low ceiling—low enough for me to touch it easily (I’m 167 cm tall for reference). The small window didn’t help much; it still felt like being inside a storage room. The walls were plain white with no decorations, and the pillows were stiff, making it hard to sleep. Inside the room, there was only a fan, a small TV, and a bathroom with an inconsistent water heater (sometimes warm, mostly cold). Breakfast is available but not complimentary. While eating, you can enjoy the great view and relaxing ambiance outside. Unfortunately, the room comfort level was so low that I couldn’t imagine staying inside for more than an hour. To make matters worse, the Wi-Fi was slow and disconnected every few minutes, requiring constant reconnection. I’m not sure if other rooms are the same, but based on my experience, this will likely be my first and last stay here. The scenery outside is stunning, but the room itself just didn’t meet my expectations. On a positive note, there are a few restaurants within walking distance, and Grab delivery is available to the hotel.

10 months agoOverall, our stay was pleasant. 1. The staff was accommodating and friendly. 2. The peaceful ambiance made it a great place to relax. 3. We stayed in a Double Deluxe room, but it felt quite small for a deluxe category. Unfortunately, the bedsheets and pillowcases had stains, so we had to cover the pillow with a clean shirt. *Reminders: 1. The location is quite far from the city center. 2. If commuting, expect a fixed fare of ₱250 to return to the city. 3. Food options are limited, so it's best to bring your own or order via Grab. However, per their policy, outside food can only be consumed in the room between 6am and 10pm.

11 months agoA Delightful Stay at Sunset View Ridge Residence I stayed at Sunset View Ridge Residences for 4 nights (January 2-6, 2025), and it was an unforgettable experience. The property offers stunning sunset views that create a magical atmosphere every evening. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-furnished, making it a cozy retreat. But what truly stood out was the incredible dining experience. The chef at the residence was exceptional! Every meal was a treat, prepared with great care and bursting with flavor. The attention to detail and the use of fresh ingredients made each dish memorable. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ensuring we had everything we needed. Combined with the peaceful ambiance, this made our stay incredibly enjoyable. I highly recommend Sunset View Ridge Residences to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and amazing food. I can't wait to return for another stay—and another meal from the talented chef!
