Vista Venice Resort

We stayed at Vista Venice Resort in Morong, Bataan for a 2D1N company team building. It’s about a 3-4 hour drive from Manila, so not too bad location-wise. The resort is okay overall. They have a lot of amenities listed on their website but sadly, many of them weren’t working properly during our stay. For example, their Jacuzzi wasn’t heated, which was a bit of a letdown especially since we went during the rainy season (June 2025). It would’ve been nice if they anticipated the cooler weather. The rooms were a bit outdated, but they were clean enough and the aircon worked fine, so that helped. They also have several pools, some big, some small which could be fun on a sunnier day. What really worked in our favor was the large function room, which was super useful for all our indoor company games and activities, especially since it rained most of the time. Now, the service was excellent. I even skipped breakfast and one of the servers insisted on bringing it to me while I was chilling in the Jacuzzi. That kind of attentiveness really stood out and made the experience better. If you’re near Morong, Bataan, this resort is okay for company outings or family trips, especially if you're not too picky and just want a place with space and decent service. Don’t expect luxury, but you’ll be taken care of by the staff for sure.

We recently had our team building at Villa Venice and it was a very disappointing experience overall. The function room was poorly maintained. The chairs were uncomfortable, the equipment was outdated, and the room was far too small and hot for the size of our group. The air conditioning was barely working, making it hard to focus or enjoy any of the activities we planned. The comfort rooms were another major letdown. They were dirty, lacked proper ventilation. For a place that hosts events, this level of hygiene is unacceptable. The food was also far from satisfactory. It lacked variety, tasted bland, and some dishes seemed like they weren’t freshly prepared. It certainly didn’t match the price we paid or the expectations we had based on their promotions. Overall, the facilities did not meet even basic standards for hosting a professional or even casual gathering. Our team walked away frustrated and disappointed. We don’t recommend Villa Venice for any corporate events or team outings — definitely not worth the cost or the hassle.

The staff were all accommodating and genuinely friendly, especially the boys who served our food at the function hall. Special mention to the miss at the front desk who lent me a kitchen knife for us to enjoy the Indian mangoes we brought.

The staff are very accommodating. This is the perfect place for team building or simply hanging out with your family. We went during the off-season, so it wasn’t crowded. They have a lot of pools, and I also love the scenery here.

We held our team building activity here, and unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. There was poor coordination between management and the booking personnel, which caused a hassle in transferring rooms. The rooms themselves were underwhelming and did not meet expectations. Additionally, the venue was changed without any prior notice, and the actual location differed from what we saw during the ocular visit. We were also not informed of a water outage, which left us waiting until 11 PM for water to return—an extremely inconvenient situation. The only provision in the rooms were towels—no basic toiletries or other essentials were provided. In Rose 3, the TV was not functioning. The only positive aspect of our stay was the food, which was satisfying. Sadly, everything else fell short of what was promised and expected.
