The beach offers clean water, soft sand, and a cool breeze. The resort has a great location and the trees are scenic, but the place is poorly maintained. There is a lot of trash on the sand, including used cigarettes, the swimming pool smells bad, and the comfort rooms/bathrooms are the worst. Definitely not worth the ₱300 entrance fee.
I hope they regularly clean the beachfront. Some huts are in bad condition. We didn't booked accommodation here so I cannot say much about it. They have air-conditioned restaurant. They serve filipino food in big serving. An order is good for 2-3 persons and the cost range from 250 and up depending. They also serve breakfast favourites like the silog variant.
I also hope they improve some huts and room accommodation as some units really needs repairs.
The trash is everywhere. We paid ₱200/each for the island-hopping activity because they claimed the island was clean. But when we got there, it was also covered in garbage—and there weren’t any activities at all. All you could really do was take pictures for an hour or two, lol.
Manage your expectations. The place offers the usual beach resort vibe. However, a few things really stand out that might affect your stay. First, WiFi is very weak, and cellular signal is also spotty, so don’t expect to be online much while you’re here. That could be a pro or con depending on your purpose..good for unplugging, not great if you need to stay connected.
The common areas look dated and are definitely in need of renovations. Some parts feel like they haven’t been maintained well, which affects the overall impression of the resort. Facilities are functional, but far from modern or stylish.
Caysubic Beach Resort is okay for a quick trip if you just want to chill by the beach and don’t mind basic amenities. It’s your average beach resort..nothing fancy, but it gets the job done if you’re not too picky.
Loved our tent camping at Caysubic Beach! Perfect spot with killer views and super friendly staff. Restrooms could use some work but honestly the stunning beach more than made up for it. Will definitely be back for another chill weekend!
