We had the best time at El Jardin de Zaida! 🌿
We chose to stay here for our anniversary weekend and it turned out to be the perfect decision. The staff were amazing — everyone was so kind and helpful! Big shoutout as well to the ever-reliable guards who went out of their way to help us fix our flat tire.
Special thanks to Halen, Mhai, Owen, and the rest of the wonderful team for making our stay truly memorable. You’ve definitely made us want to come back soon! 💚
El Jardin is such a nice place! The ambiance is great, peaceful yet lively with lots of fun activities to enjoy. What really stood out was the staff — very pleasant, polite, and consistently accommodating. Even when it rained, they never forgot to greet us with a smile and made sure we were comfortable. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!
To the amazing team at El Jardin de Zaida,
I just wanted to take a moment to share our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the wonderful experience you provided my parents during their 48th wedding anniversary.
Since all of us— their children—are currently living abroad, we entrusted your team with something very special: to help us celebrate this important milestone in our parents' lives, even from afar. From the moment we reached out, you went above and beyond—assisting them with the room, the food, and even helping play the video message we had lovingly prepared. We understand that this was not part of your usual services, and yet you extended your support with so much warmth and dedication. That effort meant the world to us.
The service was absolutely five-star. In fact, we were pleasantly surprised to discover such a beautiful and serene resort tucked away in San Juan, Batangas. The ambiance, the attention to detail, and above all, the exceptional customer service truly amazed us.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Mr. Jay, who was incredibly helpful and made everything seamless—truly going beyond expectations. Also, thank you to Tin, who sent us photos and videos that made us feel like we were there with our parents. You both, and your entire team, created a memory that we will always cherish.
A simple anniversary surprise turned into something deeply memorable, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
Thank you again, Team El Jardin de Zaida. We will definitely be recommending your resort, and we look forward to visiting in the future!
I just visited a garden wedding here 2 weeks ago! It was really such a nice place to be wedded! Haven't tried accomodations or anything but the place is so serene and peaceful. Recommended for weddings OR team buildings!
Pros: Serene, relaxing getaway. Perfect for families and couples.
Room was spacious, beddings were comfortable, AC can be improved/ maybe needs maintenance to achieve perfect temp. Bathroom amenities were nice, doesn’t feel cheap. Towels were clean. Sunroof at the shower was a nice touch but a bit distracting I kept looking up as I was taking a shower coz our room was below ground level and I feel like I can be seen from outside.
The wide windows give the room a nice ambiance.
Food: Food was good, serving time was just right. Servers were all polite and attentive. Most meals we were the only guests at the restaurant.
We had a nice time at the bar, we had some beers and did karaoke tho the sound system could be improved. (Its free anyway so still a win) i enjoyed the complimentary bread for breakfast so much.
Pool : Best part of the stay was having the pool all for ourselves. We had a relaxing morning dip right after breakfast and all we could hear was the chirping birds. Definitely the highlight of our stay.
Check in/Check out and contacting the reception was a breeze. No wait at all.
Cons : The only downside to this stay was the flies. There were so many flies. Right upon checking in, we found four flies in the room. They kept bugging us while we’re trying to nap.
We were given a swatter to get rid of them. But it’s so annoying.
During dinner, a fly went diving straight into our freshly served sisig and it was such an appetite bummer. They replaced the entire dish but still, we had to keep on driving the flies away from our food. We ended up rushing our dinner just to get away from the flies.
Really hope you could do something about the fly problem. Good thing the service and the nice people make up for this issue.
