Baia Laiya Marienella Resort

Collaborated with them for my parent's 30th anniversary surprise celebration. I am based in North America so time zones were quite hard, but everything went so smoothly. Thank you so much to Baia Laiya for ensuring every detail of this surprise was executed well. Kudos to your management team who is responding 24/7 and very open to my requests and meeting sched! Customer service way above and beyond than I expected - so I highly recommend this place!! Special mention to Ms. Christine ang daling kausap and her creative skills! ❤️ Also to note, pasabog effects in every surprise, the letters, dinner, decor & request of songs - si Ms. Christine na ang lahat nag isip on the execution. I'm so happy!!! My brother also mentioned that the staff were so accommodating and easy to deal with. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back!

if you’re looking for a place that’s convenient to celebrate occasions or just to chill and relax, baia laiya marienella is 100% for its complete amenities—to pool+jacuzzi, entertainment room, restaurant/cafe (mind you the food was great and the place, the experience as well), and 3 minutes walk to the beach also the staffs are very friendly and accommodating. we had so much fun! 10/10

We stayed at Baia Laiya Marinella during the first week of June 2025, and overall, it was a great family getaway. Since we were traveling with kids, we spent most of our time enjoying the swimming pool, which was clean and relaxing. We didn’t stay long at the beach as it was a bit crowded when we arrived—something we expected since it was still peak season. Their food was delicious, reasonably priced, and served in just the right portions—definitely a plus! The rooms and facilities were well-maintained and comfortable. But what really stood out was their excellent customer service. From booking to check-out, the management and staff were accommodating, friendly, and attentive to our needs. Overall, we had a smooth and enjoyable staycation. I would definitely come back for another family vacation in the future. Highly recommended!

Pros: -3 minutes walk to the beach -Accommodating and helpful staff -Affordable stay in comparison to surrounding resorts -Nice pool -Food is reasonably priced and there's free breakfast Points for improvement: -Safety of rooms especially with smart lock system -Cleanliness of room (like changing of sheets, scrubbing of CR walls, sweeping dusty floors) -Cleanliness of jacuzzi Considerations before booking: -Number of guests -Are you staying at the pool or beach more? If the beach, take note that the accessible part of the beach might be crowded due to multiple resorts sharing it. Bring beach chairs or blankets if you want to lounge for several hours. Their pool on the other hand is nice, we enjoyed it more than the beach.

The facility is not sufficient with the number of rooms/pax it can accomodate. Parking is quite far from the resort and can get muddy if it rains.
