Cocoons (at Club Laiya)

Glad that we were able to experience staying here! The whole family really enjoyed the place. The staff were very accommodating — you can truly feel that you’re welcome. They even took the time to explain where the restaurant and restrooms are located. We loved the Cocoon Room! My kids’ favorite parts were the pool, the room, and of course, the beach! The food was delicious, and the water activities offer reasonable price. We tried jetski for 2500 pesos (30mins) The amenities were complete, with toiletries and bottled water provided each pax. The shower area was very clean. It felt luxurious for us to stay here. We’ll definitely come back! 🌊

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, they always greeted us with a smile, which made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The cocoons were clean and comfortable, and we slept really well. Each unit had a smart TV, so we were able to enjoy Netflix, YouTube, and more. The complimentary items were complete, they provided bottled water, coffee, toiletries, and towels, which we appreciated. Even though the toilets were outside, each cocoon block had one nearby, so it wasn’t an issue for us. There were also plenty of bathrooms and shower rooms available, The shower rooms near the lobby and cocoons were air-conditioned so convenience wasn’t a problem. The pool was great too, with a beautiful view of the beach. The deepest part is only around 4 feet, which made it safe and enjoyable for everyone. The overall ambiance of the place was peaceful and relaxing. The beach was also nice and not crowded at all. There were no boats around, so you could really enjoy the water. Although it was a bit rocky, it was still swimmable and didn’t ruin the experience. We also had a great time dining at Captain Barbozza. The food was delicious, and the servings were generous, definitely worth the price. Overall, our stay was a solid 10/10. We highly recommend this place and would definitely love to come back!

Checked in at 05-27-25 for a overnight staycation to celebrate my birthday with my family and it was so great. They had top tier air conditioning and their TV has unlimited Netflix which was the whole part of our stay. Thank you for guiding us. And I hope that whoever is reading this could use this as a simple guide as well.

The pool was full of 20 people playing ball, all fully dressed. Nobody told them anything Beach is dirty and uninviting ATM swallowed my card and they are not able to fix it. Not worth going

Stayed here for 1 night with my family. Check in process went smoothly. Food was good and price was reasonable. The biggest downside are the 2 rooms that was assigned to us, lots of bugs crawling on the beds, cockroach in our room which freaked out my wife big time. My son has alot of bug bites. Almost check out in the middle of the night, very disappointed. Was supposed to be a relaxing night, but wasn’t able to rest. Ended up checking out @6am, receptionist was very apologetic but reassured her it wasn’t her fault. For sure won’t be coming back to this resort
