Dive & Trek Resort and Marine Sanctuary

Superb place to be when you want to dive or just snorkel with school of different kinds of fish. Also, with nice and very clean rooms, friendly staff, and very good customer service. They also offer free breakfast, lunch, and dinner that comes with the price. Thanks to Ms. Arlyn🥰

A four-line summary Lots of bed bugs on the bed. No staff in the resort at the night. Can't change bed and room. A few days ago, I went Dive trek resort with plan for 3 nights and 4 days. On the first day, Free diving and scuba diving were ok. After dinner, I lay in bed to go to sleep, but I felt my body itchy a lot so I lifted bed blanket, I found lots of bed bugs on the bed, so surprised that I got goosebumps. So there was no phone in the room, so I scrambled to the reception to call the staff, and they weren't in the office where the lights were turned off. I dont even know how many times I screamed and yelled in front of office. it was totally shocked, lt looked like there were no staffs in resort. I tried to look for people from the restaurant side, and scream across the cooking area so many times. there were only quiet silence as if there were no employees in the resort. So, I contacted a resort staff who I talked alot when I made a reservation through the WhatsUp app and send the pictures of the bed bugs. but she said she wasnt there, so she would contact the resort staff but unfortuately and like nightmare, after that word, there were no answer, no people, no talk, not A word to me anymore through App and real my room. In the end, I couldn't even lie down in bed that night, sat in the desk chair next to bed, couldn't sleep a wink. finally in the next moring, A staff through what's App said she barely fell asleep in the last night. moreover, the staff member who arrived in the room laughed at that story and finally said that she would change my room... it was disastrous. I thought If something happens at night, I can't do anything about it. even if I fall down and have an accident at a resort full of stairs, I don't think I can not do anything about it so I thout I have to check out right away, but I couldn't do it. I heard that it would be possible after 9 a.m. And when I checked out, I asked something about bills because it was weird. the bills said I have to pay as if I rented a full set of scuba diving even though I didn't rent a mask and a diving suit. Only after i said it, then Did she fix it. And I understand that the cost of accommodation for divers is 2,000 pesos more than non diver because it costs an unlimited air tank. but when I checked out, the rental fee for scuba diving equipment was included in the air tank. what the crazy world! I thought I had to argue about it, but I endured it because I was so tired and lazy because I stayed up all night. so I thought If you could live only with that kind of money, I would better to iive alms to the poor however, I love the Philippines, so I've been to Cebu, Moalboal, Sumilon, Dumagetti, Coron, El Nido, PPS, Ciargao, Boracay, and in most of them, but I've never seen anything like this before. If u want to go to Dive Trek, Plz take care not to get hurt at night. if not, u can be died. and Plz make sure again and again until your billing is correct. if not, u can be a pushover idiot. Just don't go if you can. If something happens at night, you can go to the heaven without any care. It's a waste of a Google rating for Divetrek Resort Don't be mistaken that I gave 1 star to the resort. it was to the sardines or jack fish schooling under the sea.

We had a great trip at Dive and Trek just last week, 20 - 22 Oct 2024. Jericho, Bobby (my SCUBA buddy) and the entire staff, did an outstanding job greeting, supporting and ensuring our visit was awesome and made absolute certain we had all we needed during our visit. We participated in SCUBA diving, snorkeling, kayaking and a little karaoke. The food was great and delicious. On the last day of our visit, Typhoon Kristine was beginning and Jericho and staff ensured we were safe and were able to get us back to the parking lot safely. We will DEFINITELY return!! Thank you Jericho and Bobby for the beautiful dives.

Had an overall fantastic experience at Dive and Trek. The place itself is nestled in a beautiful location, perfect for relaxation and enjoying nature. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Service was top-notch; they made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and the ambiance was so peaceful. Also got to experience diving for the first time in this place and it was incredible, especially exploring the vibrant coral reefs and marine life. Finally, at the end of the day, there’s a beautiful sunset view, great for unwinding after a day of activities. Overall, Dive and Trek exceeded my expectations—I can't wait to go back! ❤️

I haven't had the opportunity to snorkel in a tropical area. This place was amazing. easy access to a beautiful underwater experience. Great food and they tried hard to meet all our needs, including special food for a friend with multiple allergies. For us older folks, the ladder to the sleep loft was difficult.
