Hidden Gem 🌿
A cozy and peaceful escape from the city’s chaos. Stunning views, relaxing vibes, and every corner is Instagram-worthy. Perfect spot to recharge and unwind. Highly recommended! ✨📸
The beach is not far from the shore, with huge corals and fish, which is spectacular and suitable for snorkeling. It is far from the convenience store, and there are broken wires on the beach, which is very dangerous. You have to climb more than 200 steep steps to get to the room, and your legs hurt. It is not a hotel, there is no toilet paper and toiletries, you need to bring them yourself.
If you are looking for beach front, this is the place. Room is pretty good and spacious. Sofa bed downstairs is comfortable as well as the bed upstairs. Beach is rocky but best spot for snorkeling. Corals are just at the far end of the resort boundary.
The beach view was stunning. Downside of this was that it was rocky and there are a lot of rusted fence on the beach. I think the purpose was being a wave breaker but eventually cement eroded and steel rusted, becomes a hazard and resort might not be liable for injury. Hope J1 resort fixes this. Upside to this place is that you can snorkel and find great schools of fish just in front of the resort.
Great resort, spacious room, complete with kitchen appliances so you can cook, with utensils good for 5 pax. As stated, it is not a resort so you should bring your own toiletries and towels. Also, it’s a bit far from the store so dont forget to bring all your essentials, cooking ingredients, toiletries and medicine. I believe there is no caretaker at night.
The best part is that there is a nice reef just in front of the resort with lots of different fishes and corals. Just be careful swimming early in the morning as there are jelly fish.
Overnights guests can park beside Seachase Petrol for 200/night. A caretaker will fetch you and take you on a boat going to the resort. You may also take the stairs with 200+ steps down if you wish to park at J1 Resort parking for free.
