Thank you, Ms Mary Ann for being such a wonderful and generous host during our team’s annual get-together. We all had an amazing time!
The place is fantastic, offering exclusive accommodations for up to 14 people with separate rooms and spaces, making it perfect for both small and large groups. It's an ideal location for snorkeling, free diving, and scuba diving. Additionally, Sir Albert took care of the bonfire setup, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing evening. Highly recommend this place for any group looking for a memorable experience in Batangas!
I'm torn between leaving a review and keeping this gem of a place to ourselves. First off, the host Miss Mary Ann was so welcoming. Showed us all of the rooms, and amenities. They even provided merienda and a gift for my daughter which celebrated her birthday. They even gave us a intro lesson to scuba diving for free!
There were just 7 of us but the listing is really for 14 pax. 1 main house; 1 queen on the first floor and another on the loft. There was another separate room with 2 bunkbeds. There's a music room which has a piano and karaoke. Their music room is beside the pool which is up to 5 feet. There also two other bedrooms that had bunkbeds in them but we did not need them as just the main house was enough for us. BTW, all rooms mentioned have airconditioning. There are a total of 5 bathrooms with heating and bidets.
Theres also a large dining table that could probably sit 8. No need to bring any utensils as they provide that as well. The essential appliances are also present.
The place, although noticeable that has been built in the probably 90s is well maintained and clean. No moldy smell.
Their caretaker kuya Albert was very frendly and accomodating. 1 ring of "the bell" and he's quick to assist. At night, you can have Kuya Albert arrange a bon fire.
As for the beach, if you set your expectations early, you will have the best time here. Going to the beach is around 200 steps going down. Once there you will be greeted with a rocky beach. No sand. But the beauty of this place is not above water, its underwater. This is a dive site which has corals just a few meters from the beach. I saw a Pufferfish, a turtle, Moorish Idol, Cornet fish, Two tone Chromis, and a lot more.
This is a place worth coming back to!
PS: Monkeys!!🐵🐵🐵
The house is a quiet little loft. There is a music room with an amazing view overlooking the sea. There is also a small pool for leisure, but you can take a short flight of steps down to the beach where there is a world class dive site sprawling with large and fan corals. Great place to go snorkeling, freediving, or scuba diving. It will be an unforgettable experience for sure not just with the place, but the experience provided by the hosts.
My friends and I really enjoyed our stay! Everything is well-considered. There's a music room where we did karaoke, a cleen pool, tambayan space by the pool, grilling area, several wash rooms and toilets, a lot of kitchen tools, and of course bidet! I personally appreciate the bath towels provided as well as the sufficient supply of tissue papers.
The host and the caretakers are really kind and approachable. They're even sweet enough to surprise three of my friends with gifts for their birthdays.
The place is also near the diving area. We had the chance to do snorkling with free snorkelers and goggles. We had a fish feeding activity and even found nemo! It was a warm and happy experience. Will definitely recommend this for barkadas.
Awesome place to stay. Simple but homey. Best part is the owner, it was nice to know all about the history of cliff house, the research they conduct, and the future that it wants to bring to the people of mabini
