TJM Tropical Resort

Very friendly staff esp to Cliff and their manager Marvin. Relaxing ambiance, surrounded by trees and beautiful landscape of their garden.

We were looking for a place to stay before heading to an event the next day, and we found this place thru airbnb. Tho I booked them thru their fb page bcos they have a promo Even the place is not your typical modern/aesthetic resort, they'll give off serene vibes. They are pet friendly too 🐶 I was impressed because upon checking in, you'll notice that the floor was well cleaned and mopped, it was shining lol and I brought my dogs with me so they commonly just lay wherever they like so clean floors are plus points to me. Sheets and blankets are obviously newly washed, it still smells like fabcon. The restroom is okay as long as the bidet and flush are working then that's fine. I like how there are utensils/appliances that you can use in your designated kitchen. Tv connection was slow tho. The place was quiet, we had a good rest maybe because we were the only guests that day given it's a weekday. The staff are also nice, hospitable and attentive. Overall experience is good for the main reason that everything was clean. Kudos!

Rating this resort as a 4 as I believe there is always room for improvement. I really really really liked the place. Good for overnight getaway, good food by the caterers also. Staff were friendly. AC was small but was able to cool the entire unit. beds were clean and ample. Pool area was clean, enjoyable and safe. Videoke was good/working but outdated. Could use newer songs. Sari-sari store also priced reasonably :0 Will definitely recommend. If only this resort was near the beach it would be a 5 :) Thank you for accommodating us.

Recommendable for couples or group gathering. Their staff are very friendly and approachable and they also have this mini mart with a nice ambiance for you to enjoy cold beer.

Location Far from the main road and a bit secluded but the advantage is you get to be closer to nature. The road leading to the resort is cemented. It is situated along with other resorts. The resort itself is huge and spacious. There are many fruit bearing trees inside as well. Though it was still under construction when we visited. You get to enjoy the nature views and man made lake. Carpark Limited space and just behind the resort's gate. Paved with gravel. Maybe only 10 cars will fit. Curfew The resort's gate closes at 10PM. So, if you need to go out, you need to be back before 10PM. Check in You need to leave an ID and make a deposit which is refunded after checkout. Staff I didn't get to meet the staff much but for the short interaction, I feel they're accommodating. Accomodation We rented 2 villas. Spacious with 2 double decks and 1 twin bed. The room looks clean but I saw a cockroach exiting the drain of the toilet. Water pressure is good but no heater. No toiletries provided except for toilet paper. Bidet is a plus! There's a basin and dipper in the toilet. The AC is powerful enough to cool the entire room. There's also a TV with android box, a TP link mesh for the internet and a fridge. The villa has a veranda with tables and chairs where you can dine. The floor in the veranda gets slippery when wet so be careful since indoor tiles were used. There's also a spacious kitchen area where you can cook and wash the dishes. Free use of utensils and fridge but the use of propane has an extra charge of P300 if I remember it right. Pool There's 2 small pools in front of our villa. Then another 2 pools on the other villa. The pool is just good for lounging and relaxing, not really swimming since it's small. Mini mart There's a mini mart inside where you can buy some souvenirs, necessities, food, etc. Stayed overnight with family June 09 & 10, 2024
