Bubblemaker Anilao Dive and Beach Resort

We booked our stay at Bubblemaker Dive Resort via iMessage, with a 50% downpayment made through BPI bank transfer. Smooth and hassle-free booking process! We got a room for 5 pax at ₱4,500, with an extra ₱500 charge for an additional mattress (since the room had two double beds). The room was spacious and had nice wooden furniture (tables, cabinets, etc.). However, the lights were flickering a bit and the bathroom had a weird smell. Basic toiletries (body wash, shampoo) and towels were provided. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was a big plus. Their in-house restaurant serves good food, though a bit on the pricier side. No corkage fee, but you’ll need to bring your own utensils if you’re not ordering from the resto. Their public restroom was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The public shower area even has a hot water option, which was great after diving. We tried their Fun Dive (shore entry) package for ₱999, which included a 2-hour open water session, coach guidance, and underwater photos/videos (resort fee not included). They also offer a great-value package for ₱3,099, which includes overnight shared room, 2 dive sessions, and 3 meals. We rented a boat for a tour, but it was quite pricey at ₱6,000/day. We only went to Binukbok Point (school of jacks can be seen) and then stopped by Sampaguita Resort for lunch, but unfortunately, they had no cook available. So, we went to Vista (near Amor Laut) instead, where you can see underwater tables—super cool! However, we had to pay an additional ₱1,200 for that dive, as coach fees are charged per dive. Overall, a great dive experience with friendly staff and good facilities. Just a few minor room issues, but we’d still recommend it for divers looking for a chill and affordable getaway in Mabini. PS. They have a super cute resident dog named Panda.

Highly recommended beach front resort. Great location /accommodation for scuba and free diving or just a simple weekend getaway. With dive packages and gear rentals. Very relaxing place for destress. With strong wifi connection, perfect for “workation”. Excellent service and amenities. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the restaurant, the Chef cooks a sumptuous meal. With free use of karaoke for evening socials and entertainment. The staff are nice and very responsive to the guest needs, and overall hospitality. We booked for ocean view front A/C room, spacious & clean, installed with bathroom and shower heater. Towels and toiletries are available. Big thanks to the gorgeous owner Ms Gen, for making our Free diving Weekend Stay a memorable one. She is very accommodating and made sure to satisfy the needs and overall quality service for the guest. ☺️ CEO na, Videographer pa. I’m from Taiwan, and this is my first time having a solo trip to dive in Anilao. The resort owner is very approachable and always ready to help with any questions or concerns, providing excellent support to me. Luckily, the resort is very conveniently located near the Jeepney drop-off point at Mabini General Hospital (Crossing). From there, it's just a short tricycle ride of 5 to 10 minutes to reach the resort. The room was exceptionally clean and hygienic, creating a comfortable and makes me feel at home. The restaurant features professional chefs who prepare incredibly delicious meals. I especially loved the Lechon; it was absolutely fantastic! The resort is perfectly located right by the beach, allowing easy access for diving and enjoying the stunning underwater scenery. The seawater is crystal clear, making it easy to spot marine life such as sea turtles, octopuses, pufferfish, stingrays and etc. If you're a beginner looking to get your diving certification, the resort can arrange professional diving instructors. I definitely plan to return here to take the Advanced Open Water Diver Course in the future. If you're a professional diver, I highly recommend coming with friends and having the resort arrange a trip to the beautiful coral areas to experience the world-class coral reefs of Anilao. And, tell you a secret, you must try also the night dive here! After a tiring day, the resort offers professional door to door massage services, providing a truly heavenly experience. If you want to relax by the beach with friends, enjoy drinks, and even sing karaoke, the resort has everything you need. I’m sure I’ll be back soon!

We spent nearly 2 weeks in an Airbnb right across the road from Bubble Maker but this place was our home (and office) during that time. It's got everything - good food, a great ocean view, scuba and free diving, a lovely little house reef frequented by turtles, high speed internet (with backup) and amazing owners and staff. They made us feel so welcome, even inviting us to share their New Year's feast and festivities! I'm sure it would also be a lovely place to stay as the rooms are nice and just metres above the beach. If you're in the area, this is the #1 place to spend a day with good food, lovely people and your ocean activities of choice! Many thanks to the whole Bubble Maker team :D

I will fully recommend this resort. The owner was so helpful and accommodating, they was so calm and grateful all the time. Rooms are pretty spacious, clean, comfortable. Have option for condo room with bunk bed and normal rooms with king or twin beds with great view of sea. Pretty big tv and cozy sitting arrangement on 2 nd floor above reception. The staff was prompt and friendly. They even have diving, snorkelling, kayaking options or you just take a relaxing dip in clean sea. The view of sea from resort is chilling and they also have beanbags and tables form restaurant. The food was best and so tasty (totally recommended).
