From the moment we arrived at the resort, we felt genuinely welcomed. The staff radiated warmth and professionalism, offering attentive service that made every part of our stay seamless and memorable.
Our room was spotless—beautifully maintained, fresh linens, immaculate bathrooms, and a calming ambiance that made it easy to unwind. Housekeeping refreshed the room daily, changed the towels without fail, and kept everything perfectly organized. Room service was prompt, courteous, and consistently excellent.
One of the highlights of our stay was the resort’s food scene. The on-site restaurant served outstanding meals, from hearty breakfasts to flavorful local dishes and international favorites. Every plate was fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented.
The beach view was simply breathtaking—crystal-blue water, soft sand, and sunsets that felt almost unreal. Whether from our balcony or the shoreline, the scenery added a peaceful luxury to our stay.
We also loved the bar area, which offered an impressive selection of drinks. From signature cocktails and classic mixes to premium spirits, wines, and refreshing mocktails, everything was crafted with care. The bartenders were friendly, skilled, and always ready to recommend something new to try—making evenings at the bar one of our favorite parts of the trip.
Overall, this resort exceeded our expectations in every way—excellent food, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, stunning beach views, daily housekeeping, reliable room service, and a lively bar with great drinks. It was the perfect blend of relaxation, comfort, and hospitality. Highly recommended!
Went here for scuba diving. The resort is modern and aesthetic. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views. The restaurant did not disappoint! We didn’t bother eating anywhere else as they have a really good menu and everything we tried were great!
We had 4 amazing days of diving at Solitude Acacia. The dive centre is super clean and well organised, and 1:2 dive guide to diver ratio helped me feel safe and spot more critters! Our dive guide, Ben, is so experienced, steady, calm and caring. His briefing of our first ever black water dive was clear and assuring. The camera room has clean water tanks, air guns and microfibre towels all ready for use. The professionalism of this dive operation is unparalleled.
After our dives we were well-fed by the restaurant with a diverse menu. You must order the steak, it’s one of the most perfect medium rare steaks I’ve ever had. Solid coffee for the caffeinated and friendly service staff made every meal a delight. I would love to visit Solitude Acacia again and would highly recommend them for anyone visiting Anilao. Shout out to Jonas the GM for looking after us as well!
Have been here twice already, separated by nearly 2-years. Both occasions were great! We were treated well by the staff, they were attentive, helpful and provided a great experience. The facilities are clean, rooms are spacious. I always find myself having a great time enjoying and relaxing while at Solitude Acacia. Price is worth it!
100/10 stay at solitude, would give 6 stars if possible! we stayed here for its dives and safe to say we were in extremely good hands of marge, japz, lito and the fellow boat man, the entire time for both my aow and leisure dives. both of them also have extensive knowledge of the dive sites and were extremely safe especially in situations with relatively strong currents.
regarding the stay, we were blessed with overwhelming hospitality by alphi, angie/angela and licos to name a few! all the staff were extremely friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to help ensure a comfortable stay, especially alphi as he helped arranged transport, dives and accomodations before we went over!
the hotel itself was also well kept, not just the rooms itself but also the common facilities, with everything relatively modern! we were also blessed by the cooking team over at the acacia restaurant where every meal we had was exceptional, especially the filipino food! there is absolutely no need to leave the hotel at all during the stay as everything can be provided for at the resort itself, even massages and a games room!
highly highly recommend for anyone looking for their next dive trip :)
