We had a wonderful family experience at Amor Laut. The facility is well-maintained, the pools are great, and the landscaping is really fantastic. The service was exceptional, with staff who were attentive and welcoming. The food was just fine. For improvements, we noticed several flies in the dining area, and the water in the toilet and bath felt a little sticky, which could be addressed for better comfort.
Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable stay that we would be happy to recommend to others.
We had a wonderful stay at Amor Laut. The resort is beautiful and picturesque, and what makes it even better is that it’s only about 1.5 hours away from Alabang. The staff and team were all very kind and accommodating, which really made our experience enjoyable.
The property is new and well-kept, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and can comfortably fit four people. We also appreciated that the mini fridge was stocked with drinks and snacks—including cookies we really enjoyed. The only downside is that everything, even items from the mini fridge, snorkel rental, etc. comes with an additional 12% VAT and 5% service charge. While we understand the VAT, it felt unusual to be charged a service fee for mini-bar items. That said, I truly hope the service charge goes to the staff because they were genuinely wonderful.
Food at the resort was just okay—not bad, but not particularly memorable—and a bit pricey once the taxes and service fees are added. The menu prices looked reasonable at first glance, but the add-ons made the final bill higher than expected.
As for the facilities, the bathroom could use more thorough cleaning to remove watermarks, and the towels should be updated as they already look quite worn. They do provide pool towels, but one of them unfortunately smelled like pee. To be fair, you can always ask for a new one—but the laundry service definitely needs improvement, and it would be nice if they replaced their towels with newer ones. On a positive note, I noticed they really take guest feedback seriously. For instance, I read in a previous review that there were no extra chairs, but during our stay, they had already added more sunbeds. It’s clear that the owner is doing their best to continuously improve the resort for guests.
We loved how quiet and relaxing the place was. Since it was a weekday, we were the only guests in the resort. It was generally serene, though a bit noisy in the afternoon with tree-cutting and chainsaw work. To make up for it, the owner kindly treated us to complimentary cocktails for sunset, which was such a thoughtful gesture.
The garden was another favorite spot—we enjoyed walking barefoot on the grass for some grounding and relaxation. The beach itself is rocky, but the view is absolutely picturesque.
Overall, Amor Laut is a hidden gem just outside Manila. Despite a few areas that could be improved, we truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. I’ve already had several friends asking about it, and I’d be more than happy to recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet and refreshing escape close to the city.
Property is great. Nice pool, good quality rooms. Aesthetic bathroom, nice but pricey resto. Only thing it lacks is the beach. A good place to stay if you're into scuba or snorkling.
Overall nice property with some things to improve on:
The food tasted okay but we feel can be improved much better.
The room I stayed in on the 1st floor suite. The aircon was loud and had a high pitch so I think it's due for maintenance.
The rooms are dimly lit and I hope they can add more lighting or standing lamps to help illuminate the room more.
Our stay at this beach resort was nothing short of magical. We had the entire place to ourselves, which made it feel like our own private paradise. The staff were incredibly accommodating, ensuring that every detail was perfect during our stay. The rooms were stunning, and the beds were so comfortable that it felt like sleeping on a cloud.
The food was absolutely delicious, and our dinner turned into a truly romantic experience since we were the only guests there. The ambiance was perfect, and the entire vibe of the resort made our stay truly unforgettable. This was one of the most memorable trips we've ever had, and we can’t wait to come back!
