Just had a great time at La Chevrerie. Cute little boutique resort 2 hours drive from Manila.
Carmen and her team have been very gracious and welcoming hosts. Very nice accommodation, food + diving and boating arrangements.
We’ll certainly come back.
I would say that fair rating would not exceed 4 stars. This hotel indeed has a very nice sunset view, but room that we booked was so old and unmaintained. Such a shame this hotel owners did not put any efforts in doing any renovation work.
There is also no mosquito nets on the balcony ehich i suppose is an easy fix.
Restaurant was nice for dinner but morning options were a bit disappointing.
Staff was nice but still they could not help us to change the room as the one we booked was the only one, we could only downgrade it for 50% of the price, which could be a strange decision anyway. Location is okay. View is really nice. Not much of a beach area no sand, mainly gravels.
Pool towels were all very old, with threads and holes. Which again doesnt seem a hard thing to improve. Looks like they invested once at the very beginning and never came back to it. What a shame, could be a really good relaxing place with quality service…
Loved this place. Staff was great, room was cool, clean and comfortable. Great location and amenities. Will definitely be back.
Only complaint was the tv reception was poor, but we found other things to do.
The room, staff, food, and services were all excellent. More toiletries would have been appreciated. The wifi is pretty unreliable for any purpose. Overall I loved my stay, but this location could use some qualify of life adjustments and maybe a tech upgrade in the future. We stayed for 2 days and tried out snorkeling, we had a great experience! 👍
We used to always go there for some downtime, simply to unwind and relax. It's the perfect place for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves in nature. However, I've noticed that the quality of their food has diminished lately. While their breakfast remains good, I’ve found that the menu often features different names and pictures from the actual dishes that are served. Aside from that, everything else about the place is amazing.
