Novel idea to have tree houses along the beach. Black sand by the way.
Customer Service, accessibility to the resort - poor.
No electricity from local electric provider just thru generator which is run at limited time (6pm-6am I think).
They charge extra for appliances like laptop, electric heater, sterilizer.
Safety also an issue. Resort is not secure. Prone to theft.
The resort has potential to be one of the best resorts in Batangas…however, it is neglected.
Here are the things that I have encountered:
1. BEACH- ROCKY, POLLUTED, and DIRTIEST beach I have seen in my entire life! My goodness! We even paid 35 pesos environmental fee to LGU but they can’t maintain the cleanliness of the beach!
2. VIEW-just ok. I was just sad with the garbage in the shore.
3. ACCOMMODATION-electricity was cut at 7:30AM and was never opened until we left the resort. for that reason, we also had a hard time in taking a bath because there was no water.
We rented 19k for 1 big and small villa but it’s not worth it.
4. PARKING- very far to resort. However, there was a car/truck that picked us up going to our accommodation.
5. STAFF-polite but they had a hard time in making their decisions.
All in all, I was not satisfied with my experience in this resort and I won’t recommend it…it’s just a waste of time and money.
Pros:
• The resort itself is clean.
• A small convenience store is located at the back, which is handy if you forgot to purchase something before checking in.
• Our treehouse has a total of three bathrooms: one private bathroom on the second floor and two shared restrooms/showers near the entrance.
Cons:
• The pool, which we assumed would be private and exclusive for treehouse guests, turns out to be a public pool.
• The karaoke room rental is quite expensive at ₱1,500, and bringing your own speaker and microphone doesn’t help because the internet connection is spotty.
• The beach in front of the resort is rocky and not suitable for swimming—you need to walk a bit to reach the sandy area where you can actually swim.
• The beach area is not well-maintained, with litter scattered everywhere.
• The banana boat ride cost ₱350, despite us initially being told it would only cost ₱300, indicating inconsistent pricing.
The location is far. We have to park our vehicle at least 10 minutes drive from the tree house. We also had to wait 45 minutes when we got there to get picked up.
There are trash everywhere. The beach is really murky and has a lot of sharp rocks underneath. And the accommodation itself is not good and not comfortable. It only has one bathroom for 12 or more people. The electricity keeps dying at night because they only use solar. Lacks of blankets and pillows. It has a lot of bugs and roaches in the cooking area. The place is not secured since the first floor is just an open area. It is not a relaxing place and I would not recommend this rental at all.
Don't expect too much. Good for a large family. Just lower your expectations. No restaurant available. Bring your own food. Black and rocky beach. Garbage is everywhere. No direct pave road to the resort but they offer parking and transport service.
