Matabungkay Beach Resort in Batangas offered a nostalgic charm that took me back to simpler times. The beach itself is classic Filipino – soft, dark sand and shallow waters perfect for wading. I loved the iconic bamboo rafts, where you can lounge and enjoy the sunset. The resort had a laid-back vibe, with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. While the facilities are a bit dated, they add to the rustic appeal. The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious, especially grilled over charcoal. It's not a fancy place, but Matabungkay delivers an authentic beach experience that's perfect for a weekend escape from the city.

If you’re looking for a family-friendly small hotel in Lian, look no further than Bella Beach Resort. Bella Beach Resort offers guests an array of room amenities including air conditioning, and getting online is possible, as free wifi is available. The small hotel offers room service, to make your visit even more pleasant. The property also features a pool and an on-site restaurant. Guests arriving by vehicle have access to free parking. The room rates are unreasonably high given the poor facilities, lackluster service, and unkempt ambiance. Despite what was advertised, there was no hot and cold shower. The place was dirty when we arrived, and the staff were not accommodating at all. At the restaurant, the staff seemed unsure about their own menu and serving portions, and they didn’t honor senior citizen discounts. Even the shoreline was dirty. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and definitely not worth the price.

SUCH A WASTE OF MONEY TO PAY A DISAPPOINTING ACCOMODATION. wWE HAD A FAMILY EVENT SO WE CAN 'T BACK OUT! WE GOT A ROOM, P4500! NOT WORTH THE PRICE. EVEN THE POOL WAS DIRTY! THERE WAS A STINKY SMELL UPON THE ENTRANCE. REALLY A NOT GOOD PLACE TO STAY. BAD FACILITIES, AND SERVICE.
