I'd give additional stars for this place, if they let me :D. We got a 2 bedroom forest view accommodation and it was beyond my expectations. The room was clean, cozy and relaxing. The balcony is big enough to accommodate a large family with a corner jacuzzi. The kitchen is well equipped with a water dispenser and a medium sized refrigerator. There's walking access down to the beach but not recommended for the elderly. We usually drive down to the beach which only takes a 3 minute drive. I loved the Terrazas infinity pool. It is surrounded by trees and has a good shade cover even at noon. We can stay there all day.

Amara Residences are condo style accommodation that are part of the Club Punta Fuego complex. Beautiful location and sea views. You really need to have a car to make the most of the experience as some of the facilities are a 10 minute drive away. Beach is readily accessible from the residences but it is a steep walk so most drive. All condos have kitchens and lots of good restaurants are a short car ride away. We have stayed 3 times and throughly enjoyed ourselves.

Booked August 2022. Despite the jacuzzi not working, I still give this 5 stars because of the rest of the unit and the usual wonderful Punta Fuego experience. 2 big, nicely designed rooms with a gorgeous balcony (partially in our case) overlooking the sea. Best sunset view ever. They said they upgraded us from Forest to Seaview but I wanted the jacuzzi, so I insisted on my original booking but lo and behold, the jacuzzi wasn't working. We just let it pass. You can cook here, too, except grilling. I liked cooking while looking at the ocean- an amazing experience. Not beachfront so you have to ride down to the Terazzas or to the Peninsula. With its price, I'd still say it's worth it.

We stayed in Amara Residence for 4 nights. We got the forest view room since its the only one available when we booked. The forest room is spacious with 2 bedrooms , kitchen, separate living and dining rooms and a big balcony with jacuzzi. Masters Bedroom King size bed Walk in closet Toilet and Bath Guest Room King Size Bed Closet Toilet and Shower Only bath towels and provided and they are pool towels. No hand and face towels. I suggest you bring your own towels if you want clean and fresh ones. The beddings on the other hand are hotel quality and are also clean. They also provide soap, toothbrush, toilet paper and shampoo. Living Room LED TV with Cignal Day Bed/ Sofa Dining Room Electric kettle Instant Coffee only The floor of the entire unit is slippery. Our toddler fell twice and hit her neck and head on the furniture and floor :( Kitchen Stove and Refrigerator Plates and utensils Pots and Pans There’s no microwave and Toaster (not available upon request as well) Incomplete utensils No chopping board No serving plates , no bowls Refrigerator is moldy. The top of the refrigerator is dusty and dirty. The oven has not been cleaned from previous use. So I cleaned it only to find out that its not working . But the stove works fine :) The kitchen cabinets are dusty. Bring your own dish soap and sponge. There are no kitchen towels. No drying rack for the plates. No rice cooker. Bring your own frozen food and just reheat. Bring easy to cook breakfast and bread, snacks, rice, drinks etc. Bring your own drinking water for your entire stay. The floor of the dining room is damaged and rotten. Balcony The jacuzzi is not clean. So we didn't bother cleaning and using it. There was no view as expected, so we didn't really hang out in the balcony. The jacuzzi is also not safe for our toddler. Check in Check in was 2pm. We were checked in by concierge, Jessica. She is friendly and helpful. You can communicate with her thru mobile. We were given our room key and was assisted by Manuel. He was not in Punta Fuego Uniform , so I was really confused but I did not bother asking. He is basically the housekeeping guy/ maintenance (?) You can request for new towels and toiletries or request for something to be fixed like the broken water heater by texting Jessica. Beach Access The Terazzas Club is only open from Friday to Sunday. Turtle Pool Restaurant Beach Cabanas Beach- open to other resorts/ non guests of Terrazas, but huge so you can maintain social distancing. We spent the other days in peninsula de Punta Fuego instead (20 minute drive via our own car). There's no shuttle going to and from peninsula de Punta Fuego/Club Punta Fuego. You can still access the beach only, when terazzas is closed. You still need you own car to go to the beach / Terrazas, because its downhill. They don't allow pets. No wifi in the room as well. Overall I still consider going back because the Terrazas is exclusive and secure and and the apartment is really big, perfect for our family. But I hope they improve on the cleanliness of the unit and complete the kitchen as advertised (fully equipped kitchen).

Staff was really courteous. Our unit had its own jacuzzi. Rooms and beds were really nice. Kitchen and appliances are complete. Great view with nature all around you. No wifi though
