Not bad for a tourist looking for a budget friendly place to spend the night. The staff in the reception is very polite and accommodating. However, if you are particular with beds and linens or you prefer comforter then you might consider other hotels.
My wife refers to this as the nightmare Hotel. But this was compared to the five star hotels in Makati. The mosquitoes eat her alive in the lobby which is something the hotel can't control but really colored the stay. The staff was fantastic though with a special shout-out to Che. She was very helpful and went out of her way and she really should add another 1/2 star to the review. The road outside the room was flooded and there was someone with a whistle directing traffic during the night. All this noise did not lend itself to a good night sleep. The traffic was mostly tricycle traffic which is far less than the noise would be if you are facing the main road with all the buses. The mattress was very thin being just foam on top of some plywood so if you have back problems this is not the place for you. The shower does not work well by Western standards. Water pressure was nearly nonexistent which may be more of a municipality problem than a hotel problem. Staff were kind enough to accommodate a move to the other side of the hotel to get away from the traffic noise. Unfortunately this side had the howling dogs all night. Overall however this hotel is probably par for the course if you are going to stay in and non-branded hotel in the countryside.
Sweet resort for the cost. Swimming and a very relaxing atmosphere. If you get the chance stay for a couple of nights. The staff is friendly and courteous.
