Hotel Del Rio

Now I understand why Hotel Del Rio has been around since 1965 and still continues to operate until today! It’s because of the amazing staff and excellent service they provide to their guests. I want to give special commendation to Raymond, who made our stay extra memorable. From our smooth and hassle-free check-in to the thoughtful surprise cake for our wedding anniversary, everything was just perfect! 💕 Raymond was always smiling, very accommodating, and genuinely caring. He is truly a gem of Hotel Del Rio and one of your best staff! 👏 Thank you for making our stay so wonderful, we’ll definitely be back!

Back in the day, this was likely to have been a top notch hotel. Walk into the lobby and you think that could still be the case. But, no lift if you are elderly, the rooms need a decor make over, when we got into the room, found some one's else half used water bottle that the cleaners missed and the hot water in the shower was barely luke warm. Our usual hotel had no rooms available and we only needed somewhere to sleep for a few hours. We didn't check out the food options so cannot comment on that though the menu didn't seem to look to bad. All staff encountered were helpful and polite

Had always been booking here. My partner and I love the breakfast buffet. Location is also a plus, just at the backyard by the pool is an access to the esplanade, the famed iloilo river park, in the front is an easy public transportation access to almost any point of the city. If you are in for a stroll malls and sights are some few minutes away else you can book a grab car or take the public transport. Food, service and location are all superb! Cons, this is a dated hotel, kindly manage your expectations

It was an old hotel, so there were some problems such as hot water. However, the riverside trail behind the hotel was great and it was very nice because there were no Korean tourists. I am willing to revisit.

Since we are traveling around the island, we booked the del Río last for 2 nights; it was a good price on Agoda. The hotel, built in 1967, has a total charm from a time when comfort and tranquility were still important. Huge rooms, queen-size bed, huge and wonderful for sleeping. The staff are perfect, the breakfast buffet is amazing, the selection is great, the warmth is perfect, everything is perfect. I have been a restaurant manager in Switzerland for 25 years and I know what I'm talking about. The kettle, small refrigerator, and small amenities are perfect. The location is perfect. The pool may be a bit dated, but it's wonderful for cooling off and swimming. There is plenty of parking. The only thing is that the prices in the restaurant are too high. But all the fast food chains are nearby. Congratulations, perfect here.
