a week agoAmazing stay with lovely staff (thank you Charis and Victoria!), insane pool view, and wonderfully quiet given limited cabins. No light pollution so if you’re up late night after they turn the lights off you can see so many stars. Food was great. No AC but the fans more than did the job (at least in December). You can book underground river and other excursions through the hotel which is great, I also booked airport and onward transfer with them. I also recommend walking down the road 20 min for the quiet beach, the walk itself is lovely. They don’t accept credit cards so I advise Wise which was easy and a lower fee than PayPal. The only issue with my stay was the transfer to port Barton when I left, a van took me to the junction near Sabang but the guy there then told me he had no record of a transfer reservation and he couldn’t reach Ocean Green (number he had was disconnected and there’s no number for them online). So I waited an hour while he found me a spot on another van. In the end it was fine, minor delay, but I would recommend getting a number or receipt or something. Maybe there was a change of personnel at the junction that day, who knows, but having a contact number would have helped.

a month ago⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed at the ocean Green Eco Lodge for 2 nights. Between our travels from port Barton to Puerto Princesa. It’s located about 1 hr drive from peurto princesa. We arrived at 10am and check in is at 2pm. We were able to chill by the pool until the room was ready. We received some really nice welcome drinks in the meantime! The lodges are so fabulous! They are completely bamboo. We had a nice size bedroom with a mosquito net, a bathroom and another room for our things. I think all the huts are different. There is a fan , no aircon. The lodges are powered by solar which is so cool! The food was exceptional! I can’t recommend this enough! The breakfast omelette was delicious and the curries for dinner were top tire! The coconut shake was soooo good and the passionfruit juice !! The staff suggest lots to do. We did the zipline (550 pesos each) which was 15 minutes away and was really fun! And we also did the underground river ( 2,300 pesos each )which was 30 mins away. Both fun experiences! We thought it was so cute that the staff had set up a Halloween picture wall too. The staff are really sweet. I would highly recommend to stay here if you get the chance, we had a 10/10 time! It was just so peaceful and such an enjoyable stay

3 weeks agoBest value for money accommodation visited in the phillipines. Tasteful, traditional decor combined perfectly with natural surroundings. Great views. Lots of greenery and flowers. The service and food is really excellent. If not staying in the accomadation I would advise stopping here for food and drinks. The homemade ice-cream is so delicious.

6 months agoWow! We stopped here by chance to eat something in the lodge's restaurant and were overwhelmed by the warm welcome, the beautiful view, the detailed design of the lodge and especially the excellent food. Our previous trip to Palawan had been a culinary disaster, so we were all the more surprised to be served really good food here. There are also many vegetarian dishes on the menu and the vegetables are grown organically on the premises. It tasted excellent. We were also given lots of information about the surrounding area and all our questions were answered in a very friendly and competent manner. The infinity pool is filled with rainwater and the lodge runs on solar power. We would have liked to stay overnight, but had to move on. Thank you very much!
