Parrots Boutique Resort

Fantastic place. Lovely staff. Our only issue was the access from the main road. Given they had a typhoon last week this is understandable. We shall return. Peter what a great asset to the hotel brilliant guy. Sandy and Brian.

This is a great place to stay in Port Barton. It has recently been refurbished to a high standard. The rooms are spacious, it is quiet and they have a nice pool and well kept gardens. The staff are courteous and polite. We really liked Peter who was a fantastic host and made us feel at home. He was truly awesome 👌. Out only minor niggles was that one evening there was no water and we were not informed of this inconvenience. Also when we went to settle our account we were informed that there was a problem making payment electronically at that time. It would have been better if we had been informed by the staff of both of these issues. Despite these minor point we would highly recommend Parrots Boutique Resort as a place to have a relaxing stay when visiting Port Barton.

Such a beautiful place, like its own little world within Port Barton (the surrounds are completely different!), comfortable rooms and excellent service. We were very happy with our stay, thank you to the whole team!

We really enjoyed our stay! The service was extremely helpful and friendly throughout our time - we loved Cookie and Grey, the feel good managers ;)! The entry and driveway was a bit cumbersome due to some construction work but this will surely change in the future

The hotel has a very nice and cozy design, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The air conditioning works perfectly, and they provide towels both for the pool and the beach, which is very convenient. We booked Tour A through the hotel and it was an excellent experience. We also rented a motorbike and had it delivered to the door in less than 10 minutes; it’s also possible to request a tuk tuk to easily get to town. On the downside, if you get a room on the ground floor, privacy is reduced unless you keep the curtains closed, as other guests passing by can see inside. The included breakfast is quite basic and limited; more complete options such as bacon, waffles, or yogurt come at an additional cost, which lowers the overall value of the experience. The late checkout arrangement was also a bit confusing: at first, we were allowed to stay until 2:00 PM, but on the day of departure, we were asked to leave at 11:30 AM unless we paid 300 PHP per extra hour. It would have been very helpful to receive this information in advance so we could plan accordingly. Another detail to keep in mind is that the hotel only accepts cash payments, which can be inconvenient if you’re not prepared.
