The artwork in the rooms is incredible, really does look just like the pictures, very cool. The location is an easy walk and we appreciated this for a quiet, secluded stay. It’s a small town after all. Staff offered to keep our bags when we arrived early and left late, as well as umbrellas on rainy days. The only con is that the initial smell of mould in the room was quite overwhelming and on the towels after a few days use. I’m guessing this was due to the extreme rain we had received prior and during our stay which was a bit of a bummer. You also had to pay ₽5 for a glass of water which caused us to buy a lotttt of plastic water bottles :// not great for the environment. For the price, it was overall okay.

Overall rooms are nice, the breakfast situation wasn't communicated that it stops at 9am nor says anywhere on the list in the room of the Welcome letter. So we paid for a room with breakfast then never received our breakfast. Every hotel in the Philippines usually runs breakfast until 10am but here its until 9am, but should have been communicated anyways.

Nice hotel ,a bit outside (meaning 5min) of the center of Port Barton. Rooms are nicely arranged, the AC could be a little more silent. Booking the Island Tour through the hotel is a really good thing to do, since it was organized amazingly. I really recommend the tour, it was a blast!! Breakfast is ok. For the price of this hotel, it was a fantastic stay. Couldn't wish for much more.

We booked to stay here because of the good reviews that mentioned helpful staff. Unfortunately the owner wasn't there at all throughout our five night stay and the girl that was there (Chi), wasn't very helpful. At check in, she said we should do a boat trip but when I asked her to tell us more about it, she didn't know anything. She pointed at a poster and said "Do this tour". Before we had even entered our room, she tried to pressure us to book immediately which we refused to do. This was disappointing as we were hoping to pick the owner's brains regarding good boat trips. Chi was no help whatsoever. One evening, she locked the external gate (chain and padlock) without pre-warning us and we had to make several phone calls to get help at 11pm. Eventually I called a local lady who helped us organise a boat trip - she contacted the hotel owner. Thankfully she got through and Chi opened the gate. She said "sorry, I forgot". The gate was never locked before that night. The bathroom gets ridiculously hot as the air conditioning unit ventilates into the bathroom rather than outside through an external wall. On a positive note, the bed was very comfortable and we liked having breakfast outside every morning.
