Santa Claus Hilltop Port Barton

Nothing fancy and very homey. They don't have a lot of rooms. The owners live upstairs. They just met us and treated us like family, it's a very quiet place, very close to the town. And it has the best view in the town. We had a great time

Called Santa Claus because the German owner looks like Father Christmas, i.e. portly with a white beard. We stayed in the main house, there are also guest cottages. Staying here is like staying with your uncle. It is not the most luxurious of places, but any lack of luxury is compensated by the pleasant owner and his charming Filipino wife who cooks a great breakfast. They do not serve dinner, go to the nearby Mojito bar which is really excellent (but take a torch!)

Best room in the Philippines, we have been all around the Philippines, stayed in hotels, hostels, Airbnb and everything and this place was by far the best. Super clean and fresh, large ensuite bathroom with a separate HOT shower. The owners were also super friendly and accommodating, inviting us to their balcony for drinks, which is where the free 5* breakfast is also served.

Very friendly and lovely owners. We lived there feeling like living at home. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and very clean. If we come back we will go to Santa Claus Hilltop again.

Amazing views from the top of the hill! Our host Quirlet was amazing! We highly recommend it!
