6 years agoVilla Milanel is located in a quiet area of Port Barton but still close to everything (Port Barton is fairly small). The rooms and common areas (dinning/bar and relaxing lounge) are accessed through a boardwalk running over a cute little stream and garden, that is so lovely. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable, shower and toilet work perfectly, and there is a small personal terrace in front of each room. The layout is perfect to encourage conviviality and interactions with other guests but still gives you good privacy. And last but not least, Clarina is the perfect hotel staff, always on the top of everything, she anticipates your every need. I only stay for 1 night (on Christmas day), but I'll definitively come back.

5 years agoWe loved our stay at Milanel, its far enough from all the noise but close enough to everything (few minutes walk), staff is friendly, its affordable and surrounded by a beautiful garden. You get free filtered water, coffee and tea. The only reason it didn't make it 5 stars for us is because the bathroom (in the hut with private bathroom) didn't have enough ventilation so there was mold, and for people with allergies its not ideal. Its the tropics after all so pretty common! We highly recommend this place :)

6 years agoWe really enjoyed the clean and modern albeit shared bathrooms here. The cottages were on the smaller side, but was totally fine for sleeping. We found that we didn't even need to use the mosquito net at all, we had no problem with bugs. My only gripe would be that it's about a ten minute walk from downtown/Beach area, and when it is really hot outside, the walk feels pretty brutal. Otherwise, service was great!

2 years agoGreat place to stay in Port Barton, true value for money. Very cute and especially clean bungalows with all facilities you need. Fan, mosquito net and your own bathroom. Breakfast is also very good and tasty. Great location, just outside city centre. But most is on walking distance! Hosts were super helpfull and friendly. They organized a tour for us and transport.
