Nanay Rosie’s Kubo

The place has a beautiful view, especially from the second floor. I arrived at 2 PM and noticed a bad smell everywhere. At first, I thought it was coming from the resort, but it turns out the smell was from the sea sediment. It gets washed out in the morning when the tide comes in and goes out. I totally misunderstood and thought it was from the resort, but it was actually the sea sediment all along, hahaha. Only wish the unit had kitchen inside.

We rented a kubos for 4 person and it was just an 8 x 8 room and a common comfort room which was a little unhygienic and even the cooking space and dining was very small , old utensils which has been used a million times and limited vessels . For some time the water also stopped but the owners were accommodating. And they told its 750 per head for ac room but when we reached there they told its 1000 per head and they kept increasing the other room prices too . But if u want a cheap stay u can opt for this with advance booking

no permit. we booked a week in advanced but when we arrived at port, officials said that they dont have a permit and we have to look for another transient house. they didn't notify us prior to our arrival that they dont have a permit, so we have no choice but to book to a diff transient that are very far from beach because beachfront transients are fully booked. hassle.

I love the place, but the roof leaks when it rains, staff was kind and accommodating, i hope the place will be improved when we visit again

Accommodation was OK, it was the least of our priorities simply because we know what to expect by reading other reviews. Places we go are the same, it's the people that makes the difference. I recommend the place for its island feel and staying true to its nature. Three stars for the staff, they were OK, nothing spectacular.
