Lovely place. Well appointed, spacious rooms. Ideal for solo travelers and families. They’ve got a nice restaurant too! Courteous and attentive staff ☺️

I stayed at the hotel for three nights. Because of my visit to the city, I was hoping it would be much better. I was greeted by an uneven floor that made walking difficult, especially for an elderly person or a woman wearing high heels. I hope they can level it to make it easier to walk on. The view of the trees is very beautiful. The pool is substandard. Just because the building is old doesn't mean there isn't a refrigerator, phone, or adequate towels. There were ants, insects, and geckos in the room and bathroom, as well as mosquito bites. We hope they spray pesticides throughout the site. In addition, all of the hotel and its services close at 8:00 PM. This is an experience I don't think will be repeated. I do not recommend staying there unless the situation changes.

We had our dinner here, and it was definitely a unique experience. The place isn’t air-conditioned, so if you’re sensitive to heat, you might want to consider that—especially during the summer. But it’s not really about comfort; it’s about authenticity. The old house feels nostalgic, like stepping back in time, and the menu reflects the heritage of the restaurant. True to its name, it’s a glimpse of the past. I wouldn’t recommend visiting at the peak of summer, but for the food, ambiance, and overall experience, it’s definitely worth trying. Their dishes are all classic Filipino food, staying true to local flavors. Aside from the restaurant, they also have a hotel and an event venue, making it a great spot for a full heritage experience.

Dined in at their restaurant. Lots of food choices, ambiance and the whole place is very nice. Serving size is quite small and food is a hit or miss. Pako salad is good however they douse the vinaigrette into the salad and made it too overwhelming. Would be good if they just put the dressing on the side. The kulawo lacks the smokey taste for me. It tasted just like an ordinary ginataang puso ng saging that I normaly order out of a karinderia. Coffee is good. Was not able to see the museum but would definitly be back to see what's in it and because of the ambiance.

My family and I stayed here for a whole week from Canada. It was such a great experience to say the least! We love the ambiance and the atmosphere. The staff is kind and very accommodating and the food is the best part! Very tasty authentic Filipino food! My sister and I also enjoyed the pool and the surrounding nature. Would highly recommend!
