After being away from the Philippines for over two decades, staying at Montecristo Bed & Breakfast felt like coming home. This place truly is a home away from home. Everything was spotless, well-organized, and welcoming. We felt completely safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for by the warm and thoughtful hosts. The breakfast each morning was delicious, and having a cozy café right next door made it easy to grab lunch, dinner, or even a cocktail without going far. The location couldn’t be better—just steps from Sampaloc Lake, which is perfect for peaceful early morning or evening walks. The hosts respect your privacy while still offering top-notch hospitality. I highly recommend Montecristo to anyone visiting San Pablo City. I can’t wait to return to my hometown—and this will always be our go-to place to stay!

This is the best place to stay if you want to be near Sampaloc lake. The breakfast is great and just a small tricycle ride away from the city center. The owners are very accommodating and treat you like family. Clean rooms and modern for SPC.

CHRIS AND JUNE are very accommodating, they don't have receptionists they are hands on on everything and they did a great job making us feel welcomed. Monte Cristo is an absolute gem! The location is stunning, the food is incredible, and the atmosphere is just perfect. But what truly made my stay unforgettable were the hosts—Mon and Chris are simply the best! Their warmth, energy, and hospitality made me feel right at home.
