We had a good stay at this house, which offered plenty of space, comfort, and amenities.
The Great:
1. Spacious, fully air-conditioned house.
2. Large rooms with en-suite bathrooms
3. Master bedroom includes a jacuzzi
4. High-end kitchen appliances, including a big fridge, microwave, and oven
5. Clean linens provided
6. 2-car garage for convenient parking
7. Nice, long pool for relaxation
8. Free videoke for entertainment
9. Multiple seating areas, with sofas in both the living room and the second-floor common area
10. Reasonably quiet surroundings, though occasional soft videoke sounds from nearby houses
11. Well-stocked kitchen with plenty of cooking and eating utensils
12. Plenty of power outlets
13. Friendly staff
14. Segregated trash cans
The Not-So-Great:
1. Weak water pressure on the second floor on our first night (interestingly, the pressure was fine on the second day)
2. A bit of a walk to the beach (about 5 minutes)
3. Outdoor cockroaches, especially near the pool area (a few only)
4. Eating utensils are stored outdoors, making the presence of cockroaches more concerning
5. While the staff was friendly, he was sometimes hard to reach
6. The exhaust fan in the Master bedroom bathroom wasn’t working
Final Verdict:
This staycation house is a comfortable and well-equipped retreat, offering spacious rooms, great amenities, and a relaxing atmosphere. Though there were minor inconveniences like weak water pressure on our first night, occasional pests, and slow staff response, they didn’t significantly impact our overall experience. If you’re looking for a big house with a pool, videoke, and plenty of space to unwind, this is a solid choice—just be ready for a short walk to the beach and some minor service delays.
The experience was absolutely horrendous! The rooms were infested with ants, wasps, and cockroaches! When we reported it to the so-called “caretaker,” his response was infuriatingly nonchalant—he literally said, “there are a lot of cockroaches here, but they only appear at night.” As if that made it any better! To make matters worse, the owner told us we could check-out late, and said that we could leave at 4pm! Then booked us for a banana boat ride at 1pm, only to later tell us we had to leave by 2pm because they had another booking. So, we had to rush, pack up everything in a panic, and ditch the banana boat ride altogether! What a total nightmare! The entire experience was a complete disregard for our time, comfort, and basic hospitality. 100% DONT recommend!
So were the ones fabricating stories now lol u have cctvs all over the place! REVIEW THEM!! Were not upset abt the banana boat ride, were upset because we had to scramble and pack everything in such a rush because u and ur staff cant communicate well! If there were missing utensils maybe thats because we were forced to hurry and pack quickly due to u and ur staffs miscommunication lol
The owner and their caretakers were really nice and accommodating! Just a tad bit disappointed with the amenities since the water pressure was weak in the showers (weak water pressure has been a known issue in the area so we kinda expected it) and some of them had broken handles. Air-conditioning is great but the Wi-Fi reception was bad at times - dead spots within the house according to some of my relatives.
They have a pool within the villa which had a 6ft-deep portion. The beach area was rocky and murky but you can see a lot of sea creatures especially during the low-tide period (we saw urchins, cucumbers, starfishes, etc.).
If you want a bigger pool, the clubhouse of the subdivision where the villa is located has one but charges a fee per head when we inquired (not affiliated with the Villa itself though).
