Our stay at Sabangan Resort was marred by a traumatic experience that compromised our safety and security. We were disturbed by loud noises late at night, and to our shock, someone was sneaking and peeking through our window. We found a chair placed outside our bathroom window, which suggested that someone was attempting to get a better view. This is a serious breach of our privacy and safety.
We understand that construction and renovation are part of maintaining the resort, but the lack of security and oversight is unacceptable. We hope the management takes immediate action to ensure the safety and security of their guests. The resort's failure to provide a secure environment has left a lasting negative impression.
*Suggestions for Improvement:*
- Increase security measures, such as CCTV cameras and regular patrols.
- Ensure that contractors worker should not do any work near or close to any guests rooms and no late night construction to ensure the guests privacy!!
- Provide better training for staff on guest safety and security protocols.
- Offer a more secure and private environment for guests.
*Overall:* Unfortunately, our experience at Sabangan Resort was disappointing due to the lack of safety and security measures.
We went back to Sabangan because of our great experience in the past. Sadly, our recent stay was awful for a number of reasons e.g., food selection was limited and repetitive, unattentive and unavailability of staff— it took us time to call a staff on multiple occasions, water pressure was too weak, earlier check-in time was not permitted, delayed breakfast etc.
There is also an outstanding complaint that takes forever to resolve. So no, not coming back and not recommending this to anyone now.
First of all it was totally disappointment.
If u are paying 25k for a night, u will expect better than sogo quality.
We changed 2 rooms because room was smelly and AC wasn't function well. And we had same problem at the new room.
I couldn't eat my dinner because chicken curry and vegetable dish wasn't Cooke well.
Potato was still raw I feel like I'm at hunger game.
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND 25K FOR A NIGHT, GO TO SOGO.
IT WAS MY FIRST AND LAST TIME.
I WENT THERE TO CHILL AND RELAX FOR ONE DAY BUT I GOT STRESSED...
Enjoyable overnight trip with the family. Rate for the Acacia Loft accommodation included afternoon snack and dinner, and then breakfast the next day.
Resort has two pools, a shallow one and a deeper one, right beside each other which were a bit on the small side compared to neighboring resorts we have been to. I could imagine it pretty crowded if the place was fully booked.
6/5 ⭐️
Super love this resort, the staff are all smiling, friendly and accommodating. Super helpful with our luggage as well. They have inclusive meal for pm snacks, lunch and dinner which did not disappoint! Delicious food with free flowing barako coffee.
As for the beach, the waves were stronger by noontime so it’s advisable to dip earlier. Also bring aqua boots cause Laiya sands are filled with crushed corals/shells/ rocks.
Overall we had a very relaxing quick getaway here.
You should also try their massage, we had ours in our room and had a very relaxing good night sleep
Ayun lang super happy hehe
