Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)
We recently stayed at this beach property and had a generally enjoyable experience. The accommodation was clean, modern, and well-kept, with a stylish aesthetic. The space we rented comfortably fit our group of 8, and all the necessities were provided, which made the stay easy and convenient.
However, there are a few things to keep in mind before booking. While the place is right by the beach, it’s not ideal for swimming—the sand is quite mushy and full of marine life, which makes the shoreline unpredictable. If you’re looking to soak and relax, the property does have a fairly large swimming pool, though the water there (as well as in the shower) is noticeably salty.
There’s also no WiFi available, so it’s best to come ready to disconnect. And don’t forget to bring plenty of food—food delivery services don’t reach the area.
On the bright side, the staff were very friendly and attentive throughout our stay
We had our family reunion at Doña Nena Family Beach Resort and it was such a memorable experience for all of us. I really loved how clean and fresh the whole place felt—it made our stay so relaxing. We enjoyed hours of swimming in the pool, playing volleyball, and just laughing together as a family. The caretaker was so friendly and made us feel welcome right away.
The beach itself was clean, but not really great for swimming since it was malumot and had a lot of insects and mot, so we decided to enjoy the pool instead—which was crystal clear and well-maintained. There’s no Wi-Fi in the area, but the mobile signal is strong, so staying connected wasn’t a problem.
The best part? We were the only guests during our stay, so it honestly felt like we had the whole resort to ourselves. Such a great place for family bonding, and still definitely worth it
We stumbled in here when we are desperately looking for a place to unwind. Truly a gem!
Had a great time here. The place is nice and quiet. It's not crowded unlike other private resorts. Have a pool and beach access. They also have mangroves which other beach resorts don't have. You'll get to explore the area and see baby octopus, fishes and other seashells. The rooms are cozy and nice. We got 2 double sized beds, a clean bathroom with heater and a dirty kitchen. The room was 6k for 4 pax. We don't have any cooking materials but they kindly let us borrow theirs.
Definitely would come back and hope that next time they'll add something to do.
Ok place overall, the villas were nice. 3 bathrooms per villa 2 outside and 1 inside, a private bedroom and bedbunks on the main hall of the villa. What I didn't like that much is the beach, you can't really swim in it because it's rocky especially when low tide, water recedes 20-30 meters from the shore leaving only tidal pools which can be used to observe aquatic animals. Swimming pool is ok, they are very strict on cleaning before entering the pools to prevent sand, but I came to the beach to enjoy the sea, not the pool. No corkage so you have to buy your own food from the outside.
The beach is amazing because the water is clean and clear, also the white sand and trees are perfect. There are also many activities that you can do so you will really enjoy it. The cottages and bathrooms are good,it's just that there aren't that many that can accommodate.
