⭐️⭐️ 2/5 — Needs Improvement, but Staff Were Nice We stayed at this resort for one night. We arrived around 8 PM, and the guard who welcomed us was very nice and accommodating. Even though we didn’t make any online booking, he was already expecting us since I called before we left the house, which was a nice gesture. We stayed in Cabin Raine for ₱3,500, which included free breakfast. Check-out time was at 12 noon the next day. The cabin itself was okay — it’s made mostly of wood, so it felt a bit wobbly. The mini toilet inside also had a wobbly basin and wasn’t properly cleaned, and the floor felt a bit sticky, which was disappointing. The good thing about the cabin is its location — it’s right next to the sea, though it was a bit of a letdown to see that a wall was built blocking the direct sea view. The resort also has a swimming pool for kids, which is a nice feature, and there’s plenty of parking space available. We noticed they also offer fishpond fishing, but there was no attendant at the time, so we didn’t get to try it. The biggest downside, however, was the beach itself. Unfortunately, the sea water had a bad smell, and there was a lot of household garbage along the shore. Because of that, we didn’t bother swimming — it just didn’t feel clean or safe. Overall, the staff were friendly and the place has potential, but it really needs better maintenance and cleaner surroundings, especially the beach area.

I stayed at Calubcub Bay Resort for 3 days and 2 nights. The function hall was good and the pools were clean, which I appreciated. However, the rooms we got felt a bit too cramped for four people, and the comfort room was really small. One major downside was the lack of Wi-Fi in rooms, which was a big inconvenience. Overall, it has some nice amenities, but the accommodations could definitely be improved.

My daughter really enjoy swimming here in calubcob bay.Usually we visit this area during weekend and you can see a lot of people around enjoying the sand and sea water.🥰

Staffs here just letting the other groups be noisy outside condotel rooms at 1:30am !!! Stsff said , they only have curfew for karaoke and sound system and not the guest noise! Definetely not comming back. Condotels are not cozy, insects like mosquito and flies are present. Fishing area is only 8am - 12pm. Whats the point ? Beach i give a thumbs down. Pool is quite ok.

Key points: Check-in : 2pm strict even there’s no one occupying the room ahead of us. Food: Ordered only 4 dish in the menu but forgot to cook one of our order. April 15,2025 - they called me to advise - the cook will leave early. Restaurant closes @6pm Weird for a secluded resort in the middle of nowhere. We end up driving to town 20mins one way for dinner. (No Intercom or phone inside the room for room service) luckily i was searching for phone signal when the office personnel called. Mobile Signal (VERY POOR) : im using Smart Telco 1Bar 3g to no signal inside the room. Internet: WORST!! No free internet inside the room, i even politely asked the office, the male sitting on the middle told me it is like hit miss which room get an internet coverage, I even politely asked next time what room should i book NEXT TIME for internet coverage, he would not disclose it. note: we were assigned minihotel 1 right beside the restaurant next to the main office. Room: Clean - Smell like the cleaner just mopped Zonrox. Beddings and beds are good. Tv aired only free air channels, useless netflix youtube option because there is no internet. Beach : Dirty lots of trash. Opted for pool only Staff Attitude : SHOUT OUT to the owner / PROPRIETOR of the resort. Replace all of your office staff. Unattending, Always on cellphone, Unwelcoming, Uncompromising, Hindi mapakiusapan. PRIORITY ON BULK OFFICE EVENTS, then you should stop accepting single family guests if your not going to treat everyone equal. “Familiarity breeds contempt” mukang matatagal na sa office niyo yun mga staff. Worst Experience Ever… Before Holy week 2025, I opted not to get those staff names and name drop. We’ve taken no pictures as it was not pleasing experience at all. Lastly, was not able to experience Fishing. I approached the the girl attendant issuing gate pass / receipts around 10am wanting to rent a fishing pole, unfortunately all of the 30 poles are going to be rented by a company for their event. Unable to even spare a single pole kahit pakiusapan, Ganun po tlga nauna na upahan na ang sagot (it is what it is its already rented). For a huge fishing area, only 30poles made of bamboo stick and nylon. That being said, kids was not able to experience first time fishing. Sana pinahiram mo nalang for 30mins for free. For the kids, without even thinking / blinking , pure REJECTION. Checked out early : 10:30am went on to our bisita iglesia instead. Will we come back : Big No for the price Will we recommend : Big No for the Hospitality Probably catering to locals, who loves drinking in resort and videoke, brings food and cook inside resort.
