Bahay Marikit Resort Hotel and Restaurant

Food is really great! and the staff are really nice to us... but the rooms and place are really old sadly :( i really look forward for its renovation since it's a really nice place to stay! Highly recommended 4/5 :)))

I love design and the thing I like most about this place is its open architecture. When one looks closely at its construction, conjoinings, or terminations, orientation of the garden, maximizing or use of daylight in areas, you'd see the whole place was done very deliberately and with a lot of thought. Of course, apart from the good food this place serves, they also have one of the best leche flans in Batangas! The taste is rich and creamy and yet light on the palate, the caramel is smoky and aromatic without being overly sweet, and leaves a rather mild lingering honey aftertaste in the mouth. This is one of my favorite places in the south!

Went here for daytour -- just to swim because it was so hot and to check out the place as well, arrived at 3pm and they still charge the same like 130 per adult and 100 for child. They are only open until 6pm (swimming). Also charged for 250 for a table which we just put our changing clothes on. The place is really nice BUT needs a lot of cleaning especially in the shower area. Have many webs and walls are dirty.. Like there's insect poop everywhere. Also, the pool is really hot, they did not turn on the waterfall thingy that might make it cool down.. feels like we are swimming in hot spring. But its okay.. Also sometime I smell something really bad in the pool, maybe they haven't changed it in a long time.. So when I got back home I had to take a bath again.

Best place to unwind. Staff are awesome. Food is yummy. Pinankbit and crispy pata are the best. The place is an oasis beauty of nature. Surrounded with palm and coconut trees, mahogany tree and many more. Pool is very clean. Architect Armando and Myrna mendoza (owner) thank you very much for the awesome hospitality. For overnight stay (specially groups) bring your own toiletries they give only 1 set each room.
