8 months agoSpacious, clean, although old room. Very thin walls, you get a lot of annoying from others talking late at night to early morning. A lot of trees, has a small beach in front (better for relaxing than swimming), generally it all create a bit of feel of 'paradise' as its name suggests. Good value

11 months agoWe had the best experience!! The staff (Neneg, Anabel and the other aunties) was super nice, friendly, funny and helpful! The location of the hostel is perfect. It’s definitely not a party place, but it’s really sociable and nearby the nightlife. To be honest and fair, taking a bit more care of the venue, common areas and the gardening would be really smart move to enhance the experience, some of those you can tell they aren’t in top shape. We would definitely repeat and the relation price/quality is great!

11 months agoDO NOT STAY HERE! The place is in horrible shape. We booked the family room and it was in such disrepair with a leaking roof with water dripping through the light fixture in the bathroom, a hole in the floor of the porch with rusty nails sticking out, terribly musty moldy smell, rotting wood - it is the only time I have ever left a hotel that I have prepaid for. It was too awful to stay in. Still fighting to get a refund for my prepayment!!! Also the public spaces of the property are in bad shape. They had turned the power off at the restaurant/bar (money saving?) so even the refrigerators weren’t running. I certainly wouldn’t risk eating here much less trying to get a cold beer! (And no there was not a power outage at the time.) The beach and “garden” were in bad shape and the outdoor seating areas were literally rotting / crumbling! Such a shame because from the older photos I can see that it could be such a great space! Sadly they have not maintained even a basic standard here.

10 months agoStay away from here! Horrible place to stay whether on a budget or not. Twin room did not feel private at all - netted curtains which makes you feel anyone outside could see within. And why is there a hospital-like reception counter in there?! Uncomfortable beds which included bugs to join you for the night. Little fans which do little to nothing other than cause an annoyance from the sound, so if you love a warm and muggy night this is the place for you! The toilet/shower was vile and smelt like a farm (and that was once it was even located as staff didn’t tell us where so went around random doors looking for it). The pool table was a good feature but the table and the cues were damaged and in bad shape.

9 months agoFirst night - I stayed on their dorm type room. Very misleading agoda listing. It says single beds and bunkbeds but its just 8 bunkbeds, no curtains - no privacy, too dark, cr is dirty too. I even had rashes, EXTREME RASHES!! No towel, used curtains as blankets, horrible :( The place is not well maintained. It's just nice coz it's a beachfront. Second to Third Night - I transferred to their private room. It's dirty, dusty, windows don't have locks, and I still got mild rashes. They do not care about customers feedback actually. I get along with the staff very well but they were mostly old people, that maybe the reason why they don't care about social media feedbacks. They even show a bad attitude to a foreign girl who complained about the bunk bed because it was dirty and there was no privacy curtain. The place is really bad. But food is cheap. Not recommended if u want a decent place to stay in.
