Nice comfortable hotel room and nice girl who runs reception and cooks. Whilst the room was very modern, comfortable and clean, I probably wouldn’t stay here again because of the lack of natural light in the room and the constant flick between electricity and the generators. I guess it must be tough to have such an unreliable power source. I do also think this place is a little over priced for lack of amenities. Having said that we did enjoy it so thank you!

The buildings are good quality and brand new. The owner and staff are very kind and helpful. The garden is graced by a large tree and seems to be developing well. The room was spacious, nice, and clean, but for this price range, it lacked a safe. Instead of a proper double bed, my room had two narrow beds pushed together, making it somewhat uncomfortable to sleep. I was woken around 5:00 a.m. by the daily sounds of gardening activities—sweeping leaves, and other noises in the courtyard. The breakfast is absolutely outstanding; you get three options to choose from, and it is freshly prepared by a talented cook, complete with French-press coffee if desired. The location is pretty good if you have a motorbike, as Paliton Beach is about a four-minute drive away, but not if you plan to walk or use public transport. For this price range, you would usually expect a free pickup and drop-off service to the pier, which they do not include. To be frank, while it is a decent accommodation, I find the room rate too high.

I had a great time staying at Tambisan, Yvette and her team were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast every morning cooked by Joy was delicious! They arranged us a scooter for our time there and transport back to the ferry also, thank you for a lovely stay!

We stayed for 2 nights and what can we say about this place. It's clean, it's quiet and the staff is really polite and helpful. The resort is close to the paliton beach and they offer a bike rental, with which you can reach the city in a few minutes. I can't recommend it enough and if you are visiting siquijor then stay at this lovely place.

Some nice touches here, these lovely ladies prepared a nice honeymoon room for us, with a cute little Mango desert (so tasty!) and put on a lovely Christmas celebration for the staff and any guests. Was a nice modern room though we craved more light and had all the lights on in the daytime. Needed a place to plug kettle in and ended up with it on the floor (as other plugs used for bedside lights). Rooms are designed well and are like staying in a western-esque hotel but keep in mind that comms are still starkly different (understandably, due to staffing and location). A fair amount of chattering in Filipino language about money to be paid etc. and lacking the charm you might hope for. I.e- ‘we can do your laundry but you’d have to pay’ or ‘you can order a beer sir but you would have to pay’, can make things feel a little uncomfortable if you’re not thick skinned. The customer always expects to pay, but perhaps it would help to have a menu or pricelist to present. You do very much feel like a customer with a Wallet in your pocket. However nice rooms were a reprise from the bedlam and we overall had a good stay before moving to Tahanan just up the road. We were also able to rent mopeds (great condition!) which was very helpful indeed and made travelling around the island much easier. They also provide helmets. Total cost 400/450 pesos a day (helmet included). We wish all the best to the ladies and gents at Tambisan, Veerdo, Joyce, and the wonderful gentleman who are security at the front who went above and beyond to recommend places to visit. And of course to all the rest of the team. Merry Christmas and happy new year!
