It was our first time visiting siquijor. It was quite a comfort staying in this resort. The staffs were all friendly and welcoming. The view where we stayed was exceptional. I can hear the waves lulling me to sleep. The food was delightful. The room was cozy although it can be improved but it was good enough for our stay for 3 days and 2 nights. Love how the resort gave me that nostalgic feels due to it's native touches but also a mixed of modern vibe. Thank you soo much!

Great choice! It really suits me for a place just relax, do nothing, and swim without the crowd. Sitting by the beach at dusk and watching sunrise really makes me happy and grateful for the nature welcoming with beautiful view 🥰 Hearing the birds above me and the rustling waves of the sea made me nap for sometime 🥱 Welcome with warm and hospitable staffs made it really memorable holiday for me. The restaurant serve different menu. Enjoy the hot drink during my stay been feeling sick due to unpredictable hot/cold weather. The A Hut room really fit for a stay near the beach. The whole resort is a tropical holiday you can imagine and stoke by nature. Starlink Wifi is available and full equipped with solar panel for intermittent power outage. A place to loosen up and forget the hustle and bustle of city life.

So, I booked a stay at Hola Beach Resort through direct booking. We reserved 3 nights from July 5 to July 8 and booked their 3-Bedroom Villa, which is good for 6 people. I chatted with someone through their Facebook page—that’s where I made the reservation. It was convenient because they responded quickly regarding the payment process. Since I was visiting from Canada to the Philippines, I decided to go ahead, even though they have a no-refund policy for the down payment. I still gave it a go because the photos they post online looked nice and inviting. When we arrived at Hola Beach Resort, the staff greeted us, which was nice. However, we had to wait 3 hours at their so-called restaurant or reception area because we arrived early—before the 2 PM check-in time. There were no complimentary drinks or even water. One staff member gave us 3 Nescafé coffee sticks, and we thought those were free—but we were charged for them at checkout. I wasn’t expecting 5-star treatment, but at least I hoped for a decent experience. We finally checked in and went inside the villa. Right away, it smelled bad. The villa looked more like a storage room. One of the sinks was clogged. Yes, there were 3 air-conditioned rooms, but it felt like no one had stayed there for a long time. The smell was like old books, and the floor was dusty. We informed the staff, and they said they would fix it—but nothing happened. The bathroom had no complimentary soap, not even drinking glasses. It was very disappointing, and I honestly can’t recommend Hola Beach Resort. The owner or the person I initially chatted with never followed up to ask how our stay was going—we heard nothing from them. While taking a shower, the bathroom floor would slowly flood, and the next person had to wait for the water to drain. They also don’t allow cooking in the villa or on the beach, which we understand. But when I messaged the person on their Facebook page to clarify, they just read the message and never responded. What I can say is: Hola Beach Resort is misleading. The photos they post are deceiving, and people should avoid this place. I’m sure they’ll delete this review—but this is my honest experience.

location is best for those who have rented out scooters or car. they also have scooters you can rent in the premises. room was for 4 but only 3 bedframes so they doubled up the matresses. they also have breakfast and lunch options. lots of shower and toilet at the common area. there's also one in the villa. as of writing, they have solar power so we never experienced beown out but on our last night there was no water. staff are accomodating with our rwquests and questions.
