Goldview Beachfront Resort

Gold View Resort is a peaceful place, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The area is quiet, and the pool is a nice spot to enjoy your stay. The staff are friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. The only downside is that the beach isn’t really swimmable since it’s quite rocky. Overall, it’s a great place if you’re looking for calm surroundings and good service.

The place is a bit far from San Juan and you need to have your own scooter otherwise you’re gonna have hard time every time walking from the resort to the highway and finding a tricycle but this wont influence the review since you could see the location in the moment that u book. We found the room a bit too dark especially my girlfriend. The thing that we didn’t like the most is the fact that the the bedroom and the comfort room are just divided by a simple almost transparent panel and a curtain which gives almost no privacy to the user. Also, we didn’t know how, the room was constantly flooded with water coming from the comfort room, every time we had to dry the water ourselves. The heater for warm water in the shower also didn’t work so only cold water. The only good thing about the room was the bed, very soft and big. Also on Agoda website it says beachfront but it doesn’t specify that there’s basically no beach and is impossible to swim cause it’s all rocky and the pool was closed. Im not sure if i would come back here if ever i’ll come again in Siquijor

I recently stayed at Goldview for 2 nights and had a very good experience. The place offers a great view, the staff were polite, and the service was satisfying. As for the facilities, I understand that some areas are still under ongoing construction, but for me, it wasn’t a problem. The surroundings are improving, and I can see that they’re working hard to make it even better. For those who want a really nice and relaxing stay, I recommend booking their Deluxe or Queen Room. Overall, my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I’m looking forward to coming back again in the future.

A bit far from the central location but it’s quiet & laid back. The rooms are basic and has it’s own t&b. Just a warning though, t&b does not have a solid wall partition, jusr a glass door and shower curtain around 6ft. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. They also provide motorbike and car rental. Just make sure to book with the reception in advance. If you’re into a peaceful and serene vacation, this place is perfect for you.

Everything positive are already listed down below. Food, wifi, electricity, location, amenities, are not bad. They would eventually cover up all the negative review hence the 5 star rating I placed. I wrote this for you travel who would like to get a relaxing sleep. The bed rooms here are horrendous. The toilet might as well be next to the bed since the comfort room does not have a door and a ceiling. Some partitions to the toilet have a stained glass some do not so you will be clear to see and smell while you dump. I would skip this for my next trip here. The bedroom was surprisingly bad considering the other amenities here are okay. You may consider this if you are looking for a beach and pool place that has an elevated experience as compared to camping with a tent.
