a month agoFirst of all, it was off that the staff were not friendly as we enter the hotel. It was awkward! We booked for 1 room of 2 double beds online. Charged us 800 peso more for our 12year old daughter. Price will be charged with or without extra bed. So, we got one. More strict than 5 star hotels. The room and washroom was ok. Nothing great! The safety deposit box wasn't working and the light in the washroom blew up. We went to their restaurant planning to have dinner there but closed. Went to the swimming pool but it was disgustingly dirty. The elevator was under maintainance. No amenities we can use. My husband drink. He needed ice, but they dont have. As we prepare to sleep, I used the extra single bed. I tried to sleep at around 11:00pm at night and my whole body started to itch. That uncomfortable itch took from 11pm until around 1am-2am. As I was so tired and sleepy, I decided to move to my husband's bed and there made me feel a little bit better. I called the reception to complain but did nothing about it. I will never recommend this place as our experience was not pleasant at all. Avoid this place please.

4 months agoStayed at Palawan Uno Hotel and, unfortunately, it wasn’t a good experience. The bed made me itch all night—felt like the sheets weren’t properly cleaned or had something in them. I barely slept. Worse, the air conditioner was dusty and smelled musty. I ended up getting sick the next day, probably from breathing in the dirty air the whole night. For a hotel that looks decent from the outside, I expected way better hygiene and maintenance. Staff were polite, but cleanliness should be a top priority—especially in the rooms. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again unless they seriously improve their housekeeping and upkeep.

9 months agoGood rooms, excellent service, and overall good experience Rooms were very clean. Bathroom is clean. It’s evident that they’ve been around for quite a while through some of the yellowing appliances (e.g., hair dryer), but so long as it works, it’s fine by me. Also heard from the staff that they’re doing room renovations pretty soon, so i guess they’re trying to address these problems already. Service was excellent! Staff was very accommodating and tended to our needs with urgency. I also like they have airport services - just make sure to let them know your schedule ahead of time so they can make the necessary arrangements Big plus on the available parking spaces because we rented a car to explore Puerto Princesa. Good facilities as well. Better than most 3 star hotels I’ve stayed in. Pool was clean and my favorite spot was the quiet nook by the garden. Overall, good value for money. Will definitely consider them again when I go back to visit Palawan.

10 months agoFirst I should mention that the service was incredible!! The people working the front desk are super sweet and even got me a ride to the hotel from the airport. Next I should mention the distance from the airport is very close which is convenient. The rooms are a little dated but the aircon worked fine (leaked a little second day but no issues) the bed was very comfortable my room had nice hardwood floors also. The shower was great!! Nice and hot with great water pressure. You could hear the room next to you sneeze or cough loudly so I’m not sure if the walls are thin or it was just the echo in the hallway. Overall decent stay rooms could use a little upgrade but good for the price.

3 months agoEspinosa’s Haven Resort gave me the peace I didn’t know I needed. The river’s cool flow, the fresh air, and the quiet escape from the noise of life—lahat buo sa isang araw. Simple pero sulit.
