a month agoReally enjoyed our stay here! It’s a bit far from the city but super peaceful. Staff were very helpful from airport pick-up to check-out. They even messaged us right away when my friend left her power bank. Since it was low season, the pool felt like our own private pool. Our booking also included airport transfer, breakfast, and 1 hour of free kayaking. Great value for the price! Highly recommend for a quiet and relaxing getaway!

2 months agoThe place is simply wonderful. The pool is good and well located. In addition, the fishing deck gives you an amazing view of the bay. Personnel is very friendly ans willing to proactively assist. Highly recommended!!

3 months agoThe accommodation was excellent, located in a beautiful bay where we could use the kayak to explore, and the hotel pool was fantastic. Breakfast was delicious as well. The room was very spacious, fully equipped with all the comforts, and had a wonderful terrace to relax on. But without a doubt, the best part of the stay was the reception team — they were absolutely amazing. They made sure everything was perfect for us: they booked our Underground River tour, arranged a scooter rental, organized island hopping, and more. Most of the time we asked for excursions at the very last minute, even just the day before, and they always managed to arrange everything smoothly. They truly went above and beyond. Napakabait at napakagaling ng dalawang receptionist — sila ang dahilan kung bakit naging perpekto ang aming bakasyon.

3 months agoWe are currently booked at Marina Palawan to celebrate our anniversary as a couple, and it was such a great, relaxing, and breathtaking experience. The service is excellent! The front desk, staff, and everyone else were so accommodating and granted our requests all with smiles throughout our entire stay. Definitely a 100/10 🤩 The Food – huhu I really love their food! * Pork Bicol – 10/10, I personally love the crunchiness * Carbonara – 9/10, super creamy and my partner loved it so much * Seafood Buttered Garlic – 8/10, the mussels (tahong) were a bit small, but the taste was really good * Breakfast – 10/10, we ordered chicken tocino with egg (tocilog) and banana. Since we don’t drink coffee, they kindly served us Milo instead. Thank you so much! Activities * Pool – 9/10, the pool was stunning! I loved swimming while enjoying the view. Minus 1 point because not all the lights were working at night for night swimming, but overall, super gandaaaaa! * Kayaking – 10/10, thanks to Ate at the front desk who offered this to us (included in our booking). At first, we were hesitant since no one was around in the kayaking area, but thanks also to Kuya who assisted us. It was really nice, though a bit nerve-wracking at first since we thought we might lose balance and fall into the water * Fishing – 9/10, there were so many fish, but they didn’t want to get caught hahaha! I think they knew we were trying to catch them Still, it was such a fun experience, especially for my partner who loves fishing. * Table/Board Games – 10/10, we really enjoyed this, and they even allowed us to bring the games to our room. The Room – 9/10, very spacious, clean, and super cold when we checked in. The only downside is there’s no smart TV and the Wi-Fi is weak inside the room. Transportation – 8/10, it can be a bit difficult to get there for tourists or locals without service since it’s almost 30 minutes from the city proper. Good thing we had our own ride, so it was easy for us. The Place – 100/10, definitely a hidden gem in Puerto Princesa! You don’t need to travel for hours just to find a peaceful place to relax. It’s perfect if you want to breathe, unwind, and be one with nature. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, and it made our anniversary extra special. Thank you so much to all the staff of Marina Palawan. We highly recommend this place ♥️

6 months agoAs an introvert that loves to stay where the peace and quiet is- Marina is a must. It’s one of the last few 30+ year old hotels in Palawan and is being managed by great people and great staff as well. The kayak and pool is a delight. Just enough to chill, relax and take a quiet breather. Personally, I think it’s a great place to get lost to after traveling for a long time. Perfect excuse to leave the city.
