Dabdab Tourist Inn

This is a small bungalow type hotel out by the underground river, the rooms are perfect to spend a night or 2. The aor condition worked great, there is no hot water(fine by us), and they served breakfast to your door step in the morning. The owner waited up for us to get there until about 11pm since we had a delayed flight. The price is very hard to beat.

The room is spacious and functional, with all the basic amenities you would need for a short stay. While the bed was on the firmer side, it was still decent enough for a good night’s rest. It’s worth mentioning that during our stay, we did encounter some mosquitos and other small insects, but this is not uncommon in tropical areas. Given that we were only staying for a night, it didn’t take away much from the overall experience, especially considering the affordable price. Room Features The room itself was comfortable and clean, offering plenty of space to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The towels, toilet, and shower facilities were sufficient for the duration of our stay. One of the nice touches was the coffee and breakfast delivered to the room, making it easy to enjoy a relaxed start to the day before heading out to the Underground River. While there were a few minor inconveniences like the firmness of the bed and the presence of insects, the value, location, and convenience of this inn make it well worth the price. -The location was very remote but only a few minutes walk away to the Subterranean underground river main registration area (if that’s where you’re planning to go to). -The staffs were always inside their rooms, we had to shout for them from the main reception for assistance. Very straightforward, limited social interaction from them. However, they were helpful with the luggages and breakfast service. -The room was very poorly lit. They need to change their lighting to brighter ones. My partner and I had nightmares because of the room design but it was a choice we made. -Overall, okay for the value of the accommodation.

The room is spacious and clean though it's lacking lights. The bed is very simple and no hot shower. The curtain on the glass wall is very short so be careful not to get naked with lights on during the night otherwise everyone can see you from the outside There's plenty roosters so expect to wake up very early with the noise. The garden is nice but the beach in front isn't good. The caretaker was OK and helpful. We're kind of lost looking for this resort as there's no name panel anywhere.

We loved our stay here. We couldn’t get one of the cottages but the garden rooms are still lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The setting/location is gorgeous, with the water just across the path, town a short stroll away, and gorgeous lush green surroundings. Definitely worth staying in Sabang - there’s a lot to enjoy here!
