Bernabeach Resort

We had a bad experience in this Resort. The staff are not accomodating. It's seems they dont know anything when your asking questions, really hard to ask for simple favor.shower and toilet dirty doors don't have lock water is dirty . I ask for electric fan they said all are not working so I suggest if they check in the rooms if there is any available since there is no much guest. Electric fan rent 300. We went outside to the beach to take photos but when we go back they lock the gate already. Poor service

Room was okay but the rest rooms could use a little more cleaning and scrubbing and repairs. Phone, wifi and cable was down. The filter of the pool was broken though there were othe pools but I just decided not to use them as well. It's rainy season so the tides at the beach were too strong and they said no one was allowed to swim there that time as per the cost guards. I guess it was just really a bad time, I don't know, but everything was okay when I went there last March. I hope they will fix the place soon because their location is good and the hotel can still be saved on my opinion. Anyhow, they have good food on their restaurant and I love their aircon, so cold! So still, thank you and I guess I will be back someday and hopefully everything will be okay na by then ❤️

During our recent visit, we found that there wasn't much parking space available. However, it wasn't really a problem for us at that time. We could imagine though, that during peak times it might be more of an issue. We opted for the VIP room 11 which had a fair rate and included two double beds in an average layout. One of the highlights was that our room faced the pool deck, which was a nice touch. The on-site restaurant, Bernabistro, was okay in terms of quality and service. The prices were slightly higher than expected but considering it is an in-house restaurant, it was acceptable. The location of the hotel is convenient as it is accessible and near the public market, just a short 5-minute drive away. Overall, our stay was pleasant and we would consider staying here again in the future.

Its the 10th time coming back here. No restrictions just plain relaxation. I guess thats the reason why guest goes back here. The rooms and amenities are well taken care of. Even the pool.

⚠️Warning for those who will come to this resort. This review is based on our experience with this resort. So far, this is the WORST resort I’ve ever been to. First, the reception is not even welcoming, and I think the air conditioning is not working as it is hot in there. Second, we asked for a mineral water gallon (the one that has a faucet), and they gave us a round water container that must be used with a dispenser. Note that their presidential suite doesn't have a water dispenser, so imagine the hassle that we've been through just to drink water. The room's telephone lines were also broken. We had our dinner at their restaurant (Berna Bistro), and their service was so disappointing. We had trouble communicating with the waiter, as she didn't know what seafood was included with the seafood platter we were asking for. Most of their waiters were just sitting in the corner, not being attentive to their customers in case they needed something. The food was not even warm! Overall, their food is not good. The saddest part is that the beach is so full of trash that it smells so bad that you won't even dare to take a swim. I advise you to look for another resort that will cater to your basic needs well so that you can enjoy your vacation stress-free.
