La Juana Diving Resort

La Juana is my favorite weekend spot for freediving in Mabini, Batangas. Just a short swim from the shore is Arthur's Rock, a well-known dive site. Trust me, there's a ton to explore whether you're freediving or just snorkeling. The rooms are simple and tidy, ensuring a comfy night's sleep. They offer various room types suitable for couples or larger groups. Plus, there's an on-site restaurant that serves tasty meals with generous portions that can easily feed 2-3 people. I have a feeling a chef is behind their delicious food. Oh, and if you're looking to improve your swimming skills or want to dive into freediving, check out Tiger Freediving. The resort provides freediving lessons too. Coach Tiger is super friendly and easy to talk to! She's AIDA certified, so she really knows her stuff. Lastly, the staff at the resort are incredibly friendly and helpful! 🥰

La Juana has one of the best and spectacular home reefs! My friends and family love coming back here for several years already. Guests won't have to walk down the hill / or mountain because the resort is facing right by the beach. The beautiful reef is already right in front. Snorkelers and divers (Scuba and freedive) won't have to swim far. The staff are very kind and pleasant, as well as the manager and the resident coaches! They also adjust the food according to your preference, and they make sure that your whole stay will be memorable!

Had an amazing time at La Juana Dive Resort! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the place felt really relaxing. The dives were awesome — clear water, healthy corals, and tons of marine life! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious after a long day of diving. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a chill and memorable dive trip!

My freediving trip at Lajuana Resort was absolutely unforgettable! 🐚 From the moment I arrived, the staff were so friendly and welcoming — the place itself is peaceful, clean, and perfect for both relaxation and training. You wake up to the sound of waves, clear waters, and that calm island vibe that makes you instantly feel at home. 🌅💙 And of course, diving with Coach Tiger was the highlight! 🐠 His patience, passion, and expertise made me feel confident underwater — even after taking a break from diving. He explains techniques so clearly, and you can really feel how much he loves what he does. Every dive session was both challenging and fulfilling. Whether you’re a beginner or getting back into freediving, Lajuana + Coach Tiger is the perfect combo — relaxing on land, freeing your mind underwater. ✨ Highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to reconnect with the ocean and themselves. 🌊💫

Super out of pocket dive experience and inflated cost for the low standard facility. They have a small shallow pool to teach beginners and limited gear available. Idk how they manage dive coaches but the one named Tiger shouldn’t even be teaching as she has an incompetent teaching style and ignorant about essential techniques and equipment. It’s a photogenic place during good weather and a hop skip and a jump into the water but I wouldn’t go here again. Highly unequipped, unqualified, and incompetent for instructing and conducting dives and the facility is not worth the cost. I left with a sick belly their food and drinks aren’t maintained well. Nice staff, but this place needs better management.
