It was a great vacation and a very recommended place nice view and the service was so great. Great place to spend your weekend!
this is a great location for diving, snorkelling, island hopping, etc.nice beach, food good, prices fair, enjoyed my stay with my family.
Very quiet and peaceful,
Accommodations were good - clean room, good food, friendly staff.
“One of the great things about travel is that you find out how many good, kind people there are.”
We had a really bad experience here, filthy house with cockroaches, toilets wasnt cleaned in weeks. The pool was not clean when we arrived. And when the water was switched they didnt clean the pool before they filled it with new water so was dirty directly after they refilled it. There is litterly nothing to do here, specialy if the ocean got more then 30 cm waves then u cant go island hopping or snorkeling. The outdoor garden area was not nice at all, broken glass and trash laying around. There is alot alot of mosqitos 24/7. No stores close by no beach. No seaside. The owner is a greedy man who does not like to make right foe himself. No refunds even tho the house was not fit to live in.
Would never ever go back to this place.
Health hazard and a waste of money.
Check in was hell. We're supposed to check in at 3PM but there was no advise from them that the guests prior to us extended their stay and had to be transferred to their other property. We're able to check in at past 4PM and upon entrance it was obvious that the entire place needed proper maintenance. We were told about overflowing drain/pipes and the parking area was too cramped for 3 cars (SUV). Other cars would have to utilize a paid parking area outside the property. Expectations were not properly set and the photos in the listing made the place look charming and rustic but in reality the entire place was cramped, the mini pool doesn't have a filter and the "beach" was not for swimming because of trash. The beach was blocked by a newly constructed building in front of the property, and please don't walk towards their beach front because there's a German Shepherd roaming freely in their yard and the fence was low, so the dog can or may jump off the other side. There should be a warning or off limits sign to warn guests. It was really appalling! The place has potential, I just hope it will be well maintained.
The place was misadvertised. The picture did not match the actual site. There is no beach unless you count the rocks and pebbles. Beach view is blocked by a building. Advertised for 18 people but only 3 rooms have ac (maybe 11-12 total kung ok na magtabi tabi). Attic room was dirty and open to bugs and everything else. Pool will fit maybe 5 comfortably if you are just standing still. Forget swimming. AC is weak. We left. We are asking for our deposit back dahil sanfalse advertising. Will update kung cooperative ang owner otherwise do not recommend this place. Over priced for the location and what’s actually provided.
We were invited.. The trip was not bad coming from Cavite through Slex and Star tollways. After reaching Batangas city the roads are narrow and with a little up and downhill including some zigzag roads, so pay attention to road signs. Upon arriving at Tanaw, we were greeted by the friendly staff and were showed the amenities and rooms. The place looks cozy, except for a new building blocking the beach view. And with few points for improvement.
Two areas to select upon arrival, we were booked on the left house.
Parking is for 3 cars, and over that will have to park on the road side. 3 rooms we occupied. I had the upper room with bunkbeds, no windows and poorly lit, There are 2 Bathrooms. you will have to go down the stairs if your room is on the upper level (not recommended for old persons)
One bedroom is located at the lower level, and will require you to go out and wait if the bathroom is occupied. There is another toilet and bath but is only accessible from outside the house. Ranking from 1 to 10, i rank them 6.
They do have 2 grills for your bbq.
To reach the beach is a few minutes walk down. Going back is a challenge for old persons.
They do have a private pool, 6 occupants can enjoy the space. Water is a bit salty so donot be surprised.
Staff are available 24 hours and are all very accomodating. Just tell them your request and they will make it happen reasonably.
It is adviced to take your own transport to reach this place. There are a few trycycles but from the town but will cost you P400 .
Over all I will rank Tanaw 3 stars. Fairly nice but I would chose another resort if will go back.
